Another difference is in their point launch timing on horizontal poles. Peter’s perfect launch time window is when he immediately stops spinning, Miles’ perfect launch window in during his second spin on a pole before he actually even stops.

I actually don't think the timing is any different, it just seems like it is because they do different maneuvers and so the visual queues are different. Peter does only one loop and then launches from a perched position, whereas Miles does 2 loops and launches from the second one without perching. I remember it being jarring when I first played Miles Morales, but especially after playing Spider-Man 2 a lot in the last month I really believe it's only a visual difference.

So I wondered if they carried the timing over or if they synced his and Peter's together but lo and behold they kept them different.

The photos you take for Robbie in the game. Depending on which spider you are playing as, if you go into the menu and select a photo in the collectibles, the one you’re playing as will have a unique bit of dialogue about the photo. I realized that on my second play through after getting all of them. I was playing as Miles and went through all of the photos when I realized that Miles wouldn’t be talking about them while I played as Peter. It was neat to notice that.

I actually prefer it this way. Just small little nuances or things that male you laugh when you watch someone elses gameplay, but you dont need to play twice. I loved the hell out of my 28hrs with this game, its probably my GOTY, but I am more than happy to put it down and play something new.

Whatever character discovers the quest completes the quest imo, so for example Miles found the Sandman crystal therefore he should find and retrieve the rest.

I like to finish that one with Peter since him and Flint have history together, but I see why you do it like that too 🤔 I'd also do the final Mysterium mission as Peter for that same reason if we had gotten the choice to 😆

7:45 while I do agree that more differences like in Gotham Knights would have been cool, the way the story in that game and the one in this game work very differently. In Gotham Knights, you can complete the entire story as only one of the bat family characters that are playable, so say if you wanted to play as Red Hood the entirety of the story, then you can, and dialogue will change to match the character you’re playing as. In Spider-Man 2, however, the story has a set narrative that requires you to play as a certain Spidey when the story needs it, so when you have to play as Peter to progress the story, you’re going to need to be Peter. Even if you try to go to the place where you’re needed to play as a different Spidey, the game will automatically change you to be that character. That little tangent aside, I do think that the differences that we have in this game are cool, more definitely would’ve been appreciated.

Not wanna be that guy but it actually is. Not saying that its a bad game i loved it 10/10 But 80 bucks for 20 hours or 60 bucks for 200 hours+ (elden ring) Gow main quest only is 26 hours and is even more sophisticated when it comes to story

@beastballchampions I understand, but I feel like RPG games have warped people's brains when it comes to game length. Those games are intentionally long for obvious reasons, but Spider-Man 2, for the type of game it is, is within the average. Just because one game is 70$ and is 100% in 30 hours, but another is 60$ and 100% in 400 hours doesn't mean one is more or less "worth the money," that is entirely subjective. I've spent 10x as much time on Skyrim, but I would still say Spider-Man was well worth my money.
