2nd day back on the bike after 7 months off recovering from ankle surgery and we hit Lake Leatherwood! 😅 Ultra successful day here with no broken bikes, helmets, or bones. Wouldn’t have hit nearly any of the bigger drops and features here without you and Dialed In towing me in. Cool to meet up again with the other Andrew after he showed me the trails at Giant’s Ridge last summer. Thanks for the help installing the metallic brake pads that morning, Lake Leatherhood is the real deal and your bike needs all the traction and braking power possible!

Hell of a place to burn in some brakes! You crushed it buddy! Stoked you sent all the drops you did and without peeping them first too 👊🏻

Nice work. That gap to lily pad move at 4:45 is a trip straight to the hospital for me. No joke!

Lake leatherwood is the deal! A must ride no doubt! This was an epic day on the bike, good riding out of everyone... That Rock armored double is massive with huge consequence, no shame on passing this one. I’ll be back at least to nab that Lilly pad gap and other hits!
@ridindirt Жыл бұрын
Yeah man you got that lily pad for sure. Just wasn’t feeling the rock double that day though. Props to you for sending the DH 7 drop. It’s a big boy 👊🏻

@@ridindirt No doubt, we sent the shit out of that drop! Some hard leveling up this trip, I want to get back here and do some back to back laps on some of these heavy blacks and double blacks..

I seen that drop on DH7 in March and I thought it was huge! I think it's bigger than drop the hammer, and as always doesn't look that big on camera
@ridindirt Жыл бұрын
Oh the GoPro effect is real. It’s definitely bigger than drop the hammer 🤙🏻

Awesome riding!! Hope I can hit some of those drops next year!!

Hell yeah man, thanks! Drops are easy man. It’s more mental than anything. Just ride of em and land, that east haha

Sick riding. That drop you and Jeremy hit on DH7 looked pretty colossal. Also that Lilly Pad looked extra gnarly. Some really fun ass trails in that system, though it was even more of a sloshfest when I was down there during my short stay. Did you guys shuttle? If not I feel sorry for your legs. Those return climbs started to add up quick 😅
@ridindirt Жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s a good sized drop for sure but works well. I was stoked to see Jeremy send it! Super fun trails and hell no we didn’t climb it haha. Shuttled for sure

I rode leatherwood for a day when I was in bentonville with some friends a few weeks ago. I like the style of trails but I hate the fact that you are riding on loose gravel for the entire time. Otherwise that place is the real deal!

Yeah super fun trails but could definitely use some maintenance. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had contractors come in and resurface stuff at some point
