I think that for you to be able to understand some more about Juan Gavriel, you need to listen to Armando Manzanero, Jose alfredo Jiménez, Coco Sanchez, Lola Beltran, Javier Solis, Pedro Infante, Chavela Vargas and many more. As Mexicans, we grow up with the music 🎶 in our veins, and it's a huge part of our culture . In one of your reactions, you were talking about how he made you feel happy with a song that talked about pain . Thank you for all your reactions and the love you have for Juan Gabriel. I've been his admirer since I was a young teenager, and still remember when some in the music and TV industry would laugh at him... even though he had already had several hits. BTW... I'M a 68 year old woman now!!! Regarding this particular song, if I remember correctly, HE WROTE IT around 1994 or 1996, and gave it to THALIA to sing. She sang it as the closing song in a Telenovela (don't remember which one), but the Telenovela was about the love she had for a guy, and gives God thanks for such love. She didn't include it in one of her albums until much later... I think she included it in her 6th or 7th album. Years later she also recorded this song in English Both recordings of this song became big hits. FYI... THALIA is married to TOMMY MOTTOLA, who was Chairman and CEO of SONY Music Entertainment, parent of the COLUMBIA LABEL, for nearly 15 years. As I'm sure you already know... "JUANGA" wrote many songs for so many other singers, and such songs became big hits. HE HAD 6 SONS. 4 of them having a version in different languages of the name Juan. The mother of 4 of his children (Iván Gabriel, Joan Gabriel, Hans Gabriel and Jean Gabriel) is Laura Salas. Joao Gabriel and Luis Alberto, the SECRET CHILDREN of JUAN GABRIEL, have proven their ties by means of DNA tests.. Hope you find my rambling interesting. GRACIAS ❤️
