true because there's a cutscene about her parents worried about her normally parents will avoid u to do the things they went though or if they know the ending that miyabi won't handle (remember she's just a kindagardener) but whatever the reason is, it's enough to let them to make miyabi to have a normal life Also the fact they let her touch everything but the sword FMO is that even though the axe, bow, hammer are yes can be use as weapons these things also can be use as things to help people( build thing, cut tree, hunt food(?) ) But only the sword's purpose is to KILL, to let blood sled which is a path that's no turning back if she started to use it Plus i can say miyabi on that age isn't ready to handle that thing (again, she's just a kindagardener on that time) the most tragic is that not only the first time she can held the sword she always wanted is on that time That time that she didn't even know what's going on, knowing what's death, anything Only knowing that she's not going to see her mother anymore AND TO WITNESS HER MOTHER'S DEATH + BE PART OF IT IS REALLY REALLY emotional (sry for typing this long, just, really emotional about it)

Its more about that specific sword though. She was handed all types of other weapons without hesitation. One would think that if it was only about living a normal life, they wouldnt have handed her spears and axes....Its moreso, they didnt want her to experience loss.

0:51 I only now just noticed this after rewatching the clip, but on the far left on the wall of weapons is just a straight up rifle over there and I find it funny that Miyabi also probably knows how to use a rifle but sticks with the sword because it cooler or whatever reason she doesn't use the gun.

Guns are basically useless since the bullets don't have enough firepower to continuously damage enemies. For them physical weapons like Swords, Arrows, Naginatas are far better or Canons.

if you rewatch it again, some of the weapons have gone missing after she uses them for training. What happen to them? got destroyed and never get to be displayed again, similar thing happened to her wooden sword, you can see it broke in half and Miyabi just straight up chasing a butterfly

As per Hoyoverse rules if you wanna be a Hero you gotta sacrifice stuff. She feels like if Kamisato Ayaka (Genshin) and Yae Sakura (Honkai Impact 3rd) were combined into a single Character and then give the fate of Kiana Kaslana. That's literally what she felt like. I doubt people will understand what I mean since many haven't actually played HI3rd.

Fate of Kiana I think that's a bit much brother... like Kiana's lvl of backstory and depression is hardly seen in any Hoyo character any more I mean Miyabi still had a mother and a loving family that she can reminisce Kiana on the other hand was just a test subject that is some next lvl depressing fate if u ask me but yeah she fits the Ayaka and Yae Sakura pretty well....Amazing character can't wait to play the 1.4 story.

Her eyes turn to blue because she just destroy the newly formed hollow by destroy the last etheral in the area thus causing the environment to become normal again making her iris to react to become bluish green temporarily. The human iris evolve to red only after hollows were formed. Also note that a fox's eyes glow green in the dark. This is due to a unique adaptation that allows foxes to see well at night. Miyabi is a fox thiren so it makes sense for her eye to turn blue. Hope it help to answer the question.

I feel like, to be the head of Miyabi's family is a blessing and a curse, a gift of extraordinary power but an obligation to be the hero you're meant to be. Her mother did as much as she could to veer her away from her potential just to have her live a normal life. Maybe it's to protect her, or to not want to see her go through all this. But in the end, it doesn't matter. To save her is to pass on this blessing/curse, but it dooms her to forever being the void hunter she's made out to be. It's why she looked remorseful over the young kid wanting to be a hero, because it's a bittersweet fate to save your loved one only for them to endure a heroic form of suffering.

bro just wanted to yap but didnt actually give missable details other than the eyes heres some: - the implication of her getting to know her relatives and then having to murderrr all the ethereals around is that the ones she had to kill were family - mother wasnt trying to teach her the weapons she was trying to deter her from using the sword, hence her reaction from the baby scene - that scene btw is a choosing ceremony done in east asian countries and some southeast where 1 year old baby chooses an item that signifies potential career path - calligraphy scene is a callout to her hobby (based on teasers) be doing calligraphy while meeting is being held (she aint listening at all)
