My son insisted he wanted Demeter Kitten Fur for Christmas, and so we got that one for him, and it is such an interesting musk scent. He thinks it smells like his kitty, but I think it smells a little sweeter and more powdery. If you are into musks, you might like that one.

Love your videos! ♥️ I also love musk perfumes. For a musk body spritz that smells light and shower fresh on initial spray and powdery and sweet on the dry down, I buy a $3 bottle of the Body Fantasies White Musk. I have plenty of more expensive fragrances, but this one lasts very well and always smells quite energizing and clean to me. Avon Sweet Honesty is another fresh perfume I enjoy when I want something even sweeter and more powdery. :) Less powdery and more clean and also Avon… Odyssey smells just like a white bar soap. All clean and just lovely ♥️ Thank you for your fragrance videos; they’re always a treat!

Jovan Musk is a beauty. Its very much my Mom's style of musk (hairspray and baby powder) I'm more of a C.O. Bigelow Musk fan which has a creamier sweeter aspect

Hi Sarah, thank you for this wonderful video. I also love musks. My first fragrances as a teenager were Alyssa Ashley White Musk and The Body Shop White Musk. After I watched your video I ran out and got a big bottle of Jovan Musk and have been loving it. I also purchased a bottle of the Musk Malaki and it's such a beautiful clean fragrance. Unfortunately, the scent is really, really mild - like skin scent mild. I saw another reviewer say the same thing about the strength of the scent. I'm hoping the scent will get stronger with time, but I use it in combination with the Jovan Musk and it's lovely. I also picked up a bottle of Private Musk by Swiss Arabian and it's stunning. Has a BR 540 vibe which I love.

Opulent Musk too, is a great one. Lattafa makes it i think. I just got Mauboussin in Red. 👍 26 bucks on Amazon. Its a red apple n rose scent with a woody base. I luv it. 🤗

Hi Sarah! Happy New Year! I am obsessed with musks at the moment too. I just picked up Mariah Carey Lollipop Bling Ribbon from my walmart for very cheap. It says there is no musk in it but I am certainly picking up a sugary watery musk from this fragrance. I don't like any of MC's perfumes but I like this one a lot. It reminds me of something from Y2K. 💜 It's very whimsical, non-offensive, feminine, and light. I loved Jovan Musk. 🙏 Thank you for filming this video.

Blanche Bete, although beautiful, did not work for me sadly😩. It leaned dense for my liking. I finished my bottle of Ellis Brooklyn Myth, super clean soapy style musk, I adore Kuumba Vanilla Musk, and Kuumba Gardenia Musk, Persian Garden, Daisy Love is my go to "fruity musk" , Glossier you satisfies an Iris musk, I also love Riddle oil, 11 11, JHaG Not a perfume, Fresh White Musk Parfums de Coeur, Royal Muska, Aerin Amber Musk, Essential Faith, Amazing Grace, Pure Grace, TF White Suede, Kiehl's Musk, so many endless musks ....💙

Totally would be interested in the decants / full bottle wish list, that kind of recent discoveries video is always great. This month I got Ulric de Varens' relaunch of their 2000s classic Cotton Musk. Somewhat in the same vein as Musk 12, but a bit less warm and I swear I smell lavender. Al Rehab White Musk is on it's way to me now thanks to you, really looking forward to it. Some Middle Eastern musks I got years ago turned out too adventurous to wear for me ^^ but I've got to play with all those little treasured bottles again.

Sarah, Yes More Musk! I wore the Bonnie Bell back in the 70’s and another musk oil from our local head shop! Lol I can remember having a good tip day(like $7-$10 Lol)waiting tables at the local cafe and walking to the head shop to get my patchouli and musk oils sometimes lavender. I would usually buy 2 and it’s was around $3.75 for both! When I graduated to buying at the drugstore for my perfumes my Ma gifted me with Coty’s Wild Musk. I’m pretty sure that was it. I wore it for years and started thinking about it and decided to purchase it again. I don’t know if my chemistry changed or the juice did but it just wasn’t the same. So yes I love musk Lol! Thank you for doing this video😊❤️😊 I love Glow but it’s gone on me 10 minutes tops…Luxe as well😩😩

Coty Wild Musk has been severely reformulated and diluted😤☹️and barely smells like anything these days. I found some musk oils on Etsy (like Mecca Musk oil) that are a little bit like it...also there's sometimes vintage bottles for sale. I've gone over to Kiehls original musk for my favorite tho. Nemat musk oil or Musk-Amber oil is also great! An oldie but a goodie is C.O. Bigelow musk oil...still popular today

Narciso, in the white cube, by Narciso Rodriguez, is the warmest and classiest Musk fragrance to me. It's especially beautiful in the cooler weather. I want to try Initio's Musk Therapy, which is supposed to be another sophisticated musk.

I feel like musks get a bad rap. Everyone always describes them as "dirty" or "animalic/heavy" but I think they're beautiful!! Musks are my favorite kind of fragrance 😍

Is Esthero's "Heaven Sent" any relation to Helena Rubinstein's cologne of the same name - a cologne that was sold to Dana after a number of years? This cologne was big in the 1960's and 1970's - it was an inexpensive floral with pineapple notes.

Haven't worn musk in years but want to give it a try. Just getting back into fragrance and wondering if you or anyone out there knows of a dupe for L'Occitaine's Mimosa (discontinued years ago). I discovered I had one bottle tucked away and started wearing it again. I'm in love with the scent, lasts all day in spite of it's being very old. Thanking you guys in advance! Smells like Bang will also get way stronger and it layers beautifully with Smells like esthero🥰I have them in the sprays as well. I love to layer the oil and the spray it lasts all day. Esthero really did an amazing job with her scents. 🙌🙌🦋Heaven Boy is like a signature for me but I almost prefer it in the spray form & omg the longer she sits, the better she smells

I love musks and I always try to buy a synthetic musk over a natural musk for obvious reasons. I love white musks for their cleanliness and overall heavenly feel; and I like a dark musks for their dirty erotic nature and that ‘come-hither’ quality. Whats so cool about musk notes is that they can suit ANYBODY and please anyone. My first intro to musk was the jovan.
