This video is about all the horrible things astralis has done over the years. They are getting away with some terrible stuff, and i dont like it anymore, so with some research i collected all the relevant things people should need to know.

Another big one, that many dont know about is Steen Laursen. Sure he is gone now, but was a massive part of Astralis. He was also the right hand man of one of the biggest swindlers/scammers in Denmark in recent times (Jesper Laustrup Nielsen )

I had a chapter that i wanted to make that ultimately didnt see the light of day. He was mentioned in there. He was a PR person who threatened janko/YNk that he will out him on some dirty shit. When janko shot back and said his conscious is clear, laursen backpaddled. Honestly if i knew there was more to him i mightve made that chapter. His name only came up in relation with janko

I was hating Astralis in 2019 only because of rivalry trope, but actually admiring the legendary core. After the fallout, I don't have any huge opinion on them, until the Cadian debute last year. It was so hilarious to see the whole community hating on a team and it was also so dramatic with that 13:0 (kudos to Vitality boys).

As someone who stopped watching the pro scene back in 2018 - 2019, I just remember this team always losing in major playoffs and was so hyped to see them actually win their first major. Now I’m getting recommended these videos and I’m so confused on what happened.

They won everything in 2018-2019. You have to be thinking of 2016-2017, where they basically lost in the quarter finals in every big tournament, except for the eleague atalanta major in 2017, where they finally won.

I hate everything about the Organisation, and what they've done over these last years, but when I see dev1ce, Stabbi and CadiaN play, I just can't bring myself to hate them. You know, it sucks to find out how terribly an organization is run when you've been a fan since early 2016, back when you were just a young kid. Nyholm has also recently become a shark on the Danish version of Shark Tank, called Løvens Hule, and let me tell you, he seems like a total douche. He clearly tries to act young, fresh, and cool, as if he's a super nice guy, but you can kind of sense the insincerity. His vibe is just off, and no matter how much he tries to act humble, his ego still shines through.

I was a fan of astralis, and i loved watching them being methodical, slow, and very util-heavy as i was kinda new to CS scene back then (i think it's around 2019 when the game went F2P for a moment). Then back when they have the original roster, when the first guy on OG astralis roster went on hiatus and the announcement of 10-man roster i felt something was wrong, but idk what it is so i just shrug it off. After that the roster performance declined, and it was never the same astralis i've ever seen. Now i know i don't love the team, nor the org. but i love the roster, heck if the OG roster came up and made another new team i would've be a fan instantly.

i honestly thought astralis was a great org. their impact in denmark is massive. i'm danish, and a few years ago i was at a barbeque dinner at my grandma's house. one of her friends, about 60 years old, started talking to me about my hobbies and such. i said i played some games, don't remember what i said but it was something along those lines, which lead her into the topic of counter strike. this woman who was practically decaying asked if i knew astralis. that's insane.

I agree with you. I am a die hard fan of stew2k (since his C9 days) so for me the Astralis dominant era was hella annoying. But I respect the players for putting up such a performance. After stewie left, I had been longing for a new team/player to be fan of... I also had time to look at astralis without thinking of how annoying they are for me as a liquid fan. (I still support liquid but not as much cuz the Stew, Twistzz, EliGE, Nitro and Naf basically disbanded and is now just a duo). The players of the great Astralis era amazed me with their gameplay, but I chose Heroic as they were the current underdogs poking the big teams such as vitality, faze and navi plus Cadian's mentality and character grew to me. Now that he joined Astralis, I am bit sad about my beloved Heroic line-up with Sjuush and TeSeS, but I can also enjoy really interesting Astralis line up.. I seriously believe they can make it work.. but feel free to call me delusional :DD

I Can see what you mean in these situations, but there are some other aspects I think we should look from. Straube was never forced to go to Astralis, yet he did. Same with cadiaN in the latest situation. And I agree that multiple of these decisions where awful, but at least Bro got to play the Major qualifier with them. I will always be an Astralis fan (except if they are using cheats or hit on humans they shouldn’t) but ofc there are things to be mad about. It’s still our local team and one of our only ways of developing danish talent, so I’m still on this boat❤
