2007 is the year Wayside debuted on TV in Canada. "Meet the Pets" was one of the show's biggest episodes. It reached #1 on the Favorite Canada Episodes list, and stayed there for 9 consecutive weeks.

Oh, and 2007 was also the year the Cyberchase episode, "The Flying Parallinis", premiered on PBS.

My brother was obsessed with that show back in the day. I hated it mostly cause the episodes always took place in the school and nowhere else. Anyways, this has nothing to do with the video.

It’s well past my frame of reference now. I recognize a few songs but so much of it I’ve never heard. Great job on all these.

What I find interesting about these countdowns is how many songs I really liked when they came out, but had completely forgotten about! And lots of artists where you're like, who?? Though not so much in 2007 -- only 6 artists I had never heard of.

From an archive of Much's website on the wayback machine: "Q. How does Much decide what videos get onto the MuchMusic Countdown? A. The Countdown is decided by our music committee. They look at many factors including how the song is doing on other charts, album sales, popularity and quality of the video."
