Another interesting special dialog is on Teal Mask and depends on the players gender choice. After Kieran's outburst Carmine will tell you: If you picked to play as a boy: "Do you think most people act up like that around Kieran's age?" If you picked to play as a girl: "The way he's acting is a bit scary, honestly... Is that just me, or did you feel it too?" Just an interesting detail that if you match Kieran's gender she is trying to learn if it's common while if you match hers she is more honest of how it made her feel.

the sandwich dialogue about tossing the top bun is game freaks response to how the player base namely shinny hunters would toss the top bun aside because it had a chance of launching other ingredients on specific sandwich recipes and as a bonus there was never any recipe that required the top bun in the first place its notable as its one of the few ways game freak made a funny response to a common practice by its player base

There is actually some extra dialogue, if you start the indigo disc dlc, as soon as you start the teal mask and get the call. When you go and see the principal, before you finish the teal mask dlc( not sure if it is only at that point, though), he will mention, that he learned about you from „reliable sources“, while he will outright expose Carmine for recommending you, if you finished the dlc.

Yeah, despite being one-time encounters, the paradox mons based on legendary Pokemon aren't actually categorized as legendary in the game's code (legendary and paradox are mutually exclusive in that regard), so the game treats them as any other paradox mon that you can catch as many of as you want.

I especially remember how Lacey was talking to Nemona on how she pokemon battled her dad in the middle of some important gym leader event that happened, which could imply Nemona moved from Unova when she was a really young and knew Lacey at that age

@@wwerules000 it's seldom seen, but it's been established pokemon lore for a long time that a pokemon can reject and leave their trainer. The poke ball doesn't make it a slave. The professor in Black and White states this as a crucial flaw in Team Plasma's message, as pokemon are quite capable of simply leaving their trainers if they want to. The anime even features a Snivy and later a Froakie who had abandoned several of their trainers due to the trainers not living up to their expectations. In this case of course, Terapagos also simply lost control of itself. But we see in the cutscene that it had already chosen the player character, so Kieran catching it ended up not working out.

I don't regret choosing Iono as my favorite Gym Leader. I just find her hilarious... although her BB clubroom dialogue with Grusha explaining how she's basically sold out with her streams and only cares about her viewer count nowadays does hurt a bit.

Iono is my favorite and learning from your comment on her caring too much about her viewer count now makes me see her as caring a bit much about her viewer count. That makes her seem more into how many subscribers she wants than just enjoying the moment to me and that really stings. Why I claimed to have forgotten that when I never heard of it, I'll never know. Maybe I wanted to feel like I knew enough about her and just deceived myself for a moment into thinking I'd read it somewhere. Kinda selfish like her.

7:28 Both of these tips will just end up with you getting your ass handed to you, because both Amarys and Crispin have bullets for their main weakness. Crispin will send out an exeggutor that knows solar beam, and he opens with a Rotom as part of his opening duo. Amarys is.. a nightmare battle regardless, not least of which because of her Empoleon shutting down fire types. It might just be me, but Amarys was the hardest battle in the entirety of ScaVio for me, and I only scraped by because I was a smart ass and brought a Salazzle to take advantage of corrosion and poison her Scizor and Metagross, before just.. stalling out with heals and revives until scizor went down and I could focus down the metagross. Lacey was a decent challenge mostly due to fairy types have insanely good movepools, but Drayton was a pushover... Edit: 15:37 Okay, for me, it's a more simple case of "I love her design, but I hate her character. She's everything I hate about a content creator." and seeing Grusha calling her out for how her content shifted to whatever will get the most views and clicks does make me appreciate her character a bit more, but I wish they did more with that, like maybe her having a moment where she breaks character when interacting with certain characters. Edit again: 16:22 I get it, Grusha's background is that he was a pro snowboarder, iirc, until he wrecked his leg in an accident. He's stuck in a job he never wanted, wishing nothing more than to one day get back on the slopes. Getting praise for doing something you dislike would feel like a back handed compliment, but at the same time, he seems to acknowledge that "but it's nice to acknowledged either way."

Something that has always bothered me is what happened to the other professor in a given timeline (Like in violet what happened to Sada). Would they both still be the parents of Arven no matter the timeline? Or is there some side character we don't know that fills in for the missing parent/professor? One other explanation is the other professor went non a journey instead of making the time machine and such.

The other professor was apparently also a bad parent, as they left not long after Arven was born, and Sada in Scarlet and Turo in Violet struggled as a parent for Arven’s childhood years, until they left him behind after Koraidon or Miraidon goes nuts against a wild Pokémon, leaving Arven alone at probably the age of 9. He had to raise himself, which is probably why he’s not the smartest.

At first I was going to mention how the professor encounter might be the first time you hear Koraidon and Miraidon's nicknames of Winged King and Iron Serpent, but after looking it up I found something even neater: In the pokedex, both lizards' nicknames are dropped only for the Apex/Ultimate Form in their own version, and only in their Limited/Low-Power form in the opposing version.

Love it and huge thanks just for that alone. I think Drayton telling you not to sweat it is trying to give you a false sense of security. Honestly Drayton's actions are really reprehensible, especially bullying a (heavily, heavily, heavily implied to be) autistic character during a breakdown (I'm autistic myself, I've had it happen, it's possibly the worst feeling I've ever had in my life, you feel like you don't belong in this world and it's sort of a 'stop the world I wanna get off' moment but 500 times worse, and it's very traumatising) and I really hope there was some off-screen apology to Kieran.
