Ooooooh that last sweater is a dream. The texture... Congrats on reaching your goal! I'm terrible at knitting so I will cheer from the sidelines haha. My big crochet project isn't finished yet but I started several crafts so I'll take it as a win.

Your energy is always so warm and encouraging. ♥ Lots of wonderful pieces. I can understand the nerves with the bottom-up sweater. I'm nervous about the one that's my size so for someone else that would be awful. I'll stick to top down too. Trying it on as you go is just too good. Now that I put everything in a list it's a lot more than I thought. - crochet fingerless gloves - cabled stuffed bear sweater - stuffed moose sweater - another bear sweater - a chunky knit pastel striped sweater - a crochet plush of Stitches from Animal Crossing - my first ever colorwork sweater, worked flat, with a pattern I made myself based off an image, and learning to catch floats every two or three stitches (go big or go home I guess) - a crochet sweater for myself - making sweaters in panels is the worst - sewed a stuffed unicorn Looking forward to another year of seeing what you get up to!!

"Chaos Gobblin" lol. Love that. I must be a chaos Gobblin too! All your makes are awesome and I'm so glad you shared. I can't 🧶 knit I can only crochet and Tunisian crochet but I still appreciate the talent in all the fiber arts. 🤍

Thank you 🥰 I started with crochet and tunisian crochet as well, but in the last years I've been knitting only ☺️

Hi Jente, I hope you're OK ❣️❣️ Happy New Year to you and Dries, hope it's a good one.🎉🎉🎆 Wow what a lot of Spinning and Knitting🎡, 🐑 I love everything you've made. Those Sweaters for Dries must have taken you ages to make. The gradient Cable one especially. 🧥 I haven't knit anything for a while, but I've been Crotcheting, made to Blankets and 3 Baskets. Now I'm Crotcheting a Scarf/Cowl out of my Handspun Yarn. I'm not sure what my next project will be, apart from knowing that I'll be using more of my Handspun Yarn, so I better get Spinning. 🎡🐑 Happy Spinning and Knitting Fibre Friend 🎡🐑🥰 Take care and stay safe Lots of love and Big Hugs Jen xxxx ❤️❤️❤️🫂🫂🫂🐕

Happy 2023! ✨ What an impressive amount of projects! And they're beautiful!! ❤ Loved your disclaimer. Also you encouraged and inspired me to start weaving last year. The week before Christmas I found myself a (vintage?) rigid heddle loom. And after Christmas I managed to set it up and weave a scarf with some handspun in only 3 days. 😬 I love it, thanks for that! I've read that some weaver name their looms too. So I'm going for it. And it would be only fitting to call her Jente (obviously). 😃 And now I'm off to add the Tryst (not so) Cropped Vest to my plans for 2023. In Gotland, Bonte Schaap or maybe both!?

Damn woman, you are a machine !!! I mean you first spun and dyed the yarn and then did the knitting - AND you have a day job - WOW !! I loove everything you made. I thought my husband was biiiiig - he is 6 foot 6 (I am 5 foot 1 🤦♀) but your hubby's jerseys are like a long winter dress for me ... but I think you are short too are you not ? I can't wait to see what you have done in 2023 now. So a question ... is the spinning and knitting and crochet a family talent - from your mom or a Gran or Aunty, or is it just something you decided to try and then fell in love? My dearest Aunty Joan was a wonderful knitter and she tried to teach me, but I found the crochet and embroidery easier. xxx
@MijnWolden Жыл бұрын
The knitting and crochet is indeed a family thing, my grandmom/godmother taught me to knit and crochet, my grandmom on the other side is an avid sewist and my grandpa's sister is very skilled in bobbin lace. I'm 5'4" so not all that tall no, and he's 6'6" too.
