I spent 4 years in Japan in the Air Force. In Fussa City there was a little Jazz club we used to frequent. I was always impressed how the Japanese appreciated Jazz. Yea. Nice set. Real good sound by all. Nice quick press roll by the drummer at 4:28.

Great Panache.. Keep it up.. Wonderfully playful style. Lively .. and in keeping with the spirit of jazz.. Am a great admirer of the Japanese verve.. and stylistic energy.. in their adoption of Jazz... to speak & communicate in the free wheeling international, universal language of music ❗ Making it their own.... Love from India

The Jazz club was called Funkys. Anybody know of it? Is it still there??

I think the Jazz club "Funky" is located at Kichijoji. It's still there but no jazz gigs at there. www.sometime.co.jp/funky/index.html Instead, live jazz is held every day at "Sometime", which is run by the same owner of "Funky". www.sometime.co.jp/sometime/
