I think he was getting close to realizing he loved her romantically after he saved her in 3x01, but she was so unfazed by the whole ordeal it sort of froze him up. In fact, I think her response of "jolly good." hurt his feelings a little bit and stopped him from becoming aware of what was going on in his heart. Then Higgins not only fell in love with *him* but became aware that she had, and is starting to chafe under *his* nonchalance. It hurts when the person you love doesn't seem to burn with you. It's scary. So then Thomas had feelings first, and Juliet realized her own feelings first. That's kindof lovely. Watching these two navigate their confusion has been a lot of fun so far.

I agree with you on this. Also, I believe they both suffer from abandonment issues. Not that their parents walked, (his are both deceased and her mom is and her father she admitted they were not close) they have also both lost others. I think they are both so terrified of their feelings and allowing someone in. You can see the walls coming down on both and I love that. Both Jay and Perdita are fantastic at showing this with their reactions and body language, I just love it.

@@cristalyse123 yes, very beautiful work by the leads. One of the reasons that I don't think that he's actually aware how much he really loves her is that he keeps teasing her about her dream. To him it's not hurtful teasing, because he doesn't think it means anything to her. I guess it kind of sounds a little silly, but when he joked about her dream when they were fencing I almost started crying because it didn't occur to him that his flippancy hurt. Higgins has a good stiff upper lip, but I believe the love is starting to get painful for her.

It was nice to see Magnums side of that get touched on in the last episode in regards to his mother. I wonder if maybe we'll see a little bit more detail about Higgins' father before too long since it seems to be a sore spot for her.

He has now admitted it 2 times by saying that when you work closely with someone, you are bound to have those thoughts. I feel he is trying to rationalize and compress them as if they aren’t real.

I like this edit of magnum and higgins cause it shows his love for Juliet 😊 every time he looks at her thinking she cant see then she asks why u staring he says nothing and turns around he stares because he's deeply in love remember the scenes of higgins and ethan and magnum he was really jealous all through season 3 cause his friends say why he doesn't like ethan in higgins life cause hes feeling out of place cause hes used to being the number 1 man in higgins life but now ethan came first 😢 i felt bad for him cause thomas wasnt used to it then ethan confronted magnum asking why he doesn't like him and magnum says cause hes used to having higgins for himself and not sharing her but then he said hes got to get used to sharing her with someone that bit broke my heart cause he loves her so much but higgins cant see 😢😢 I'm glad in the end both thomas and juliet admitted their feelings fir one another and got together ❤❤😊Thomas magnum❤❤juliet higgins. thomas must of realized hes feeling for Juliet in 3x01 when she was shot and he saved her thats why he was jealous 😊 hes always protective and loves higgins that much he let her be happy with someone else in season 3 even if it broke his heart ♥
