Einstein‘s grades are commonly thought to be terrible because he was a german who went to school in Switzerland. Germany has grades from 6 to 1, with 1 being the best, while Switzerland has it the opposite way, from 1 to 6 with 6 being the best. A journalist saw his grades and, believing it were german grades, he thought they were bad.

I mean, massive flaws in evolutionary and cosmic sciences keep sprouting up all the time cause at least half of it is guesswork about something that may or may not have happened a long time ago and/or a long ways away. Similar story in paleogeology too, however since the basics of the field of geology itself are well-founded it's not nearly as bad. Plus our understanding of chemistry and it's a much simpler and well-known field.

The single most important thing I ever learned is that my conclusions are probably wrong, or at least very inaccurate. This really opened up the door to learn many other things. One of the common ideas that circulates around currently is the idea that we might "travel to the future" via extreme acceleration or proximity to an extreme gravitational source. The real mechanism that takes place is the individual in the accelerated reference frame would barely travel forward in time at all while the rest of the universe would, by comparison be moving forward at a much faster rate. When the individual returns from the journey, they are in the future, but they haven't "traveled" there. They would only slow down their own traveling through time. It's just phrased incorrectly so often that it's unquestioned. The same thing happens when someone says we "look back through time" when we view distant objects, but the truth is we look at a detector, now, and the light that has traveled through space for a long period of time strikes the detector, now. The whole concept of "looking out" into space, or even out of your own head is impossible and has never happened. Science documentaries and lectures are riddled with lots of loose terminology that really doesn't help. Great video man.

We can literally replace any "fact" with "hypothesis" and, most of the time, be right at the end I do believe there is an "absolute truth", but it's tough to get to it, and it will probably happen in at least 1000 years because to make a "hypothesis" into a "fact", you gotta convince other humans that you're right, and because you need to _convince_ , you're by default "not quite right" When you gather enough traction and enough humans believe you, whether you're right or wrong, it becomes a fact
@xdrfvgyhn64
@xdrfvgyhn64 2 жыл бұрын
The only field I could think about that could produce that "absolute truth" would be mathematics.. but what if, far into the future, the people would be laughing at us for relying on our axioms as the absolute truth. Maybe our truth is dependent on the particular point in time it was conceived and hailed as the truth. Maybe, to get the absolute truth, we will need to look at the entire timeline of the universe, like an outsider looking in. Maybe we really will never find the absolute truth..

About what you said on dinosaurs, there were lots of dinosaur species without feathers, having instead lizard-like scales and earth-like tones, specially those during the Triassic period. Also, not all dinosaurs where heavy and unable to run at high speeds, Parvicursor remotus measured only 50 cm long, and dinosaurs such as Ornithomimids are thought to have had speeds of at least 40mph, for which they obviously didn't always have one leg on the ground. Please, when doing documentaries, be more specific about stuff. You can't just say "dinosaurs are massive". By saying that, you give the impression that all dinosaurs were massive, and that isn't true. Nevertheless, I love your documentaries, and everything else on this one was really interesting. Keep up the great work!

Once upon a time, when the world was just a pancake, fears would arise that if you went too far, you'd fall. But with the passage of time, it all became a rubber ball and I'm sure of that As we all once were when the world was flat

In science class my teacher was talking to us about the natural evolution and stuff, said that we were chimpanzees. My friend got up from her chair and asked "If we were chimpanzees, why did this event stop happening? Why aren't we evolving from chimpanzees to homo sapiens anymore? "

I really don't want this to come off as hating but... you got somethings wrong... and I only watched 3 minutes of the video. Mamals didn't come from birds. We didn't evolve from apes, we ARE apes, we're part of the great ape family. Monkeys didn't come from apes. That's what I found so far. I'm sure you made you research for this and maybe I'm in the wrong here, but i've also searched alot on biology and primates, and I just thought that making a video correcting errors while making errors was kind of ironic and I wanted to correct things, if anyone ever sees this. If I'm the wrong one here tho I'm open to responses.

Song inspired by this channel: Baby You and I, We are always falling, just very slow in space. See the ground but taking eternity to reach it. Though the fall's gonna hurt' we cant wait any longer to reach the ground, plant our feet and live with assurance. Y'know baby I do care but we're bound to fall. To reach the ground, eat dust and turn to dust until we rise again. Hi folks! one request, Feel free to add more to this lyrics and also use this in your song but do remember me in your prayers when you go to sleep. My life is going upside down' torn between love and hurt and difficult choices. Help me get through this hard times. Love you all.

@@mjisurdad ok basicly you know the theory of relativity and rules of physics dont bleave in those, those are just assumptions every once in a while we have to alter them because something we thought was impossible happend. Scientists can’t take “we don’t know” for an answer. Also u have to relize that we are so small in the universe that in the Milky Way galaxy we are so small that we are like 1 grain of sand in America so nothing really matters. In summary humans are such a new species and almost everything we know about scince is false BAM your now a genius
