I remember playing with all of the old models, with the exception of the characters that have three models, since I definitely don't remember Mundo looking like that, or Kassadin looking that way. Blue hair Kat looks familiar, but there's skins like that so I don't know if that's why it's familiar. I miss the old designs and pizza feet a lot of characters had. They were old and clunky but those were some of my favourite times in league. I still remember when I started the NA meta was ADC mid, and so you'd constantly be annoyed to go against Caitlyn's mid, since they'd just trap around your turret, and beat on you from afar. So my counter was old Sivir, who was way more focused on wave clear back then, since her bouncing blades was a toggle rather than a short duration amount of bounces. I remember playing god awful sivir builds too, since she was purely a split pusher back then so I'd build Atma's Impaler and Warmogs on her to get tanky, and then you just constantly push lane and used your ult to escape, it was so stupid but it worked. Then the first worlds happened and people realised adc bot made more sense, and the people that used to play Cait mid then transitioned to Heimer mid instead. I remember also a lot of Akali vs Kat match ups in mid, lots of Malz, and I used to play a lot of Teemo mid too, since back then it was actually viable. I remember AP yi was a midlaner terror for a while, jungle ali was fairly common, so was amumu, and in general it was just a lot of fun, because everyone just viewed it as a game and didn't take it as seriously as they do now. Back then I could play Crittlesticks bot without people complaining for example, though he was mainly a jungler back then. I haven't played league in a few years now, and watching videos like this almost makes me want to pick it up again. However deep down I know that modern League isn't the game I enjoyed playing anymore. They've moved in new directions, the power creep and mobility creep is insane, and fun troll builds can actually get you banned now. For now I just get my LoL fix by watching videos like this. xD

Actually,some of the old models had a lot more details and charm than the newer ones have. (Alistar, Akali, Cho, Fiora,Galio,Garens sword, Gragas Beard, Yi, Nidas Cat form, Ori, Renec,Riven, etc) Maybe it's only minor changes, but they do huge damage to what distinguishs the characters. Edit: Also some of them don't look as evil anymore or as evil as they're supposed to be: e.g. Noc, Sion, Swain ( he just reminds me of Lucius Malfoy now), Ryze, Urgot, Veigar...

Most of these old visuals look better and more realistic then the new ones. I am also sure the champions were far more broken too. Yorick still summon the same amount of ghouls back than but they all gave him different buffs plus made him reduce and increase damage by like 20 percent.
