I've been leveling the Bren in VG and using it a bit in Warzone. A couple of notes: - For the underbarrel on pretty much all the VG LMG's, you want to run the bipod. The bipod gives you an enormous crouching recoil bonus, even if you don't go prone or mount. Obviously not the best run and gun attachment, but if you are trying to beam long range, it's by far the best underbarrel for the LMG's. I don't think the MW bipods give crouching accuracy, or if they do it's minimal. And the CW LMG's don't even have bipods. VG bipods are amazing and easily better than the MW ones. - The 100 round mag attachment mounts the drum to the side of the gun, freeing up your FOV. It also has a VERY FAST reload speed for a 100 round mag. You get more damage per shot than the 40 rd Sakura mags. So I would suggest that instead.

Crouching is not an option at all if your are even trying to be semi competitive. You have to be moving (strafing) constantly even at long range. Also abusing rotational aim assist etc.

Hey Tony, you know I love your work but I have some improvements to the Bren build you recommended! The carver foregrip actually is BAD for recoil control on this weapon, it gives it this weird horizontal recoil that messes with you at range. I found the hand stop actually was the best, while the bipod makes it a literal laser beam. Also, I tested all of the stocks and found the hockenson to be by far the best. Was really surprised by that. Also, if you don’t want to run a silencer and are willing to trade that for the recoil booster you can increase your damage per second at 0 cost overall recoil control.

I’ll recommend to meta watchers, that you don’t waste time leveling up the meta guns at the time. Because you’re going to be highly disappointed that you wasted 4-8 hours out of your life just to have them nerf it within a week or two. The cooper will definitely be getting nerfed into the ground next patch

Honestly, you could probably make it only sniper support and make the bren into a SMG like build with faster movement and ADS and then add the . 50 bmg conversion

I'm actually leveling up the Cooper and using it as an SMG and it hits like a truck, I felt right away that it's a different breed. I'm still not sure about the mags because they drastically change the behavior of the weapon, it's really noticeable.

I use the 60 round with the higher fire rate then put on vital, hollow point, recoil booster and removed stock it deletes people at close range

I've been using the as44 as a SMG and have been absolutely deleting everyone. It does have a lot of recoil but it's also very easy to get use to. With the last barrel it shoots 1176 rpm and does 27 damage to the chest if you put on the last mag then it shoots 1274rpm. It does have a lot of horizontal recoil so it's best if you build it for horizontal recoil control. I named it the carbine killer. Like I said it's not really a noob friendly gun but the harder it is to use a gun the better it is.

Thanks for the video. It's always nice to have an idea about what guns to level up. I played a lot during the first free access, bought the game and I'm leveling up the weapons all day long. I have 2 AR and 1 SMG to finish those 2 categories then I'm gonna pick one or two lmgs and maybe finish the Moisin Nagant I started. @Tony I use incendiary + the XP perk as soon as I unlock them because they help a lot to level the weapons. I can't tell you how many hundreds of times I got multiple kills after dying because the incendiary kept dealing damage.

The Cooper reminds me of the ffar, which I used as a primary ar rather than a sub. I could control the recoil on it so it was perfect being able to beam from 100 meters away was amazing. Highly recommend trying this out as an ar as well.

One handed on perk 1 for cooper is a good choice if your running it along with the Bren you will already have full ar ammo, you don't need to stack fully loaded.

Mr. TonEy have you looked at the type 100 with the 36 Russian mag, the headshot damage barrel and the extremities ammo perk? I feel like the vital perk takes off around 1-2 bullets to kill for all guns. But the staking attachments and idea of balancing the guns via the perks in our loadie is interesting. Like the type 100 barrel says it has additional headshot damage, so does the 36 round mag, then we have the vital perk and hollow point bullets. It's so cool we have these perks to mess around with. first day of caldera i picked the floor loot bren and i was very impressed so i went back to vanguard to lvl it up(it was atrocious) then when it was lvl 50 ish i went back to warzone when everyone was using the stg annd automaton, i was running with the bren (exact build execpt the scope) and i was legit Frying got 12 wins with my trio using this gun, got so proud cuz i tought i found a hidden gem... i guess its no longer hidden XD

The Bren felt great the very first time I picked it up for ground loot. BAR MP40 is my go to and I wanna level up the Cooper and Bren but it takes so damn long to level up that I’m afraid it’ll get nerfed by the time I get to use it since you have to get 140 fucking levels for 2 guns.

Cooper becomes usable pretty quickly with just a few levels just make sure to use the correct operator, XP weapon perk, and XP tokens if you got em

With how long it takes to level guns and how little time I have to play, the quick nerfs are annoying I have so many guns at lvl 25- 40 before they're made useless and I have to start all over again. It's ok if you can grind for 16 hours a day, hopefully soon they'd of nerfd all the vg guns that much we'll just be using mw/cw guns that we all have leveled already
