My way of graphing quadratics is to first determine the vertex. Once you have the line of symmetry and vertex, you can go right 1, up 1*a to get your second point, then right 1 more, up 3*a more to get your third point. Then, reflect these two points across the axis of symmetry.

Passed the trig class with a B thanks to your videos! My cognition is still a bit faulty in the word problems, though. Theres just so many equations, I have trouble remembering which one is needed sometimes. 😅
