Jen, you talk about your mom doing most of your finishing, perhaps she could grace the community with videos of how to fully finish projects. From washing, to ironing, to framing, pillows etc. Tips and tricks for various fabrics, flosses, hoop marks etc.

Oh, I thought you were counting the kids as the family were walking past their old house - had to re-watch several times and you were talking about deer !! We must see an image of this infamous bathroom. You two are so funny together.

Thank you for sharing, Jen! I love you don’t apologize for your WIPS. I love seeing your progress on instagram and admire your progress and finishes. I’m cheering your Mom’s Mary Beale Advent Calendar. I kitted that a few years ago and am inspired to “think about” starting it. I have the NPIS but it is big and now that there are higher counts I may decide to change the linen. Good luck, Mom! I hope we see your progress.

Hi ladies, thanks for a fabulous wip parade. It was so much fun but,I did have to do it over multiple visits. I was enabled on a few items, but I have quite a few that you had already have…so for haha me. Happy Stitching Cheers!

I always look forward to seeing you two! I miss my mom so much, we were best friends and crafting buddies, seeing you guys giggle and chat back and forth helps me relive those days. I worked on sorting alphabet beads (making floss blings to pass out at the retreats I’m attending this year), and this was great to listen to! Jenn, you need to do Plum Street’s “Corgi Caboodle” for Annabell, you love the stacks. See you soon, I hope!! And yes, I’d love to see your mom do a finishing tutorial and/or bag making tutorial…

I love seeing you and your mother together working on your hobbies. I feel your mother’s pain with the cold bathroom. I have an apartment in Korea that I visit a couple times a year and there is not heat in my bathroom so in the winter it is soooooo cold too.

Wow! That was a lot of fun! Cindy, I totally understand what you're talking about with your gridding...I do the same thing in my counting when I have to do a long line like that. I think the downstairs bath may be too cold for insect stitching. 😂 Poor Cindy!!! She needs a space heater for the bathroom!

Loved seeing all your projects. Annabelle is adorable. As a Birman cat breeder for 20 years, I can tell you that there are both good and bad breeders, like in any other population segment. ‘Rex’ is a Latin word, meaning ruler or king. Happy stitching!

I’m sure someone has told you… but Rex means King. Your pup looks just like my childhood corgi named patches! You should have told the man on the plane….yes,,,my needle is very sharp…but you should see the scissors they let me on with. (Then pull out those tiny bright colored scissors. Bahaha)

I am planning this year to do twenty 24 HOCS. Thus 2024, get it. To do this I will attempt a 24 hour consecutive each month on the 24th. I will do the four 24HOCS weekends. And I will do four extra ones on my own, to be determined when. Wish me luck. I knew you would love the theme of twenty 24s in 2024. Oh and this is the year I turn 60. So I am also doing 60 finishes for the year.

INRI was placed above Jesus's head when he was crucified. It is Latin for IESVS NAZARENVS REX IVDÆORVM (Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum). In English it's Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews" (John 19:19).
