Hey, I've personally followed Dr Berg way of dieting, and it helped me immensely. Also in regards to eating time of the day, Dr Berg did a video about this himself, and mentioned he had better results when eating earlier on in the day, nice of him to admit it. The video is 'Dr Berg goes back to eating breakfast'. I agree with you about the calorific deficit part, unless your on a carnivore diet. I have done the carnivore diet, and its the best when it comes to losing weight, at least for me and many others, and you don't need to track any calories. The problem with the Keto diet, at least for me, is your consuming potentially inflammatory foods, and if you have any kind of gut issue, it doesn't let you lose weight and bloats you. For example, Kefir or nuts, or cruciferous vegetables don't digest well for me. The best thing I have taken away from Dr Berg videos about intermittent fasting, is the longer you do it the more beneficial, and I must say my stomach shrinks the longer they are, especially when doing it is consistently around the 21hour - 23hour mark, I cannot eat as much then. Good video though, nice to hear other viewpoints about these health gurus, and the studies you showed were interesting, as I am mainly speaking about my own experiences, reading endless comments of what others say, and from my last 10 years of trying different diets.

Awesome, it takes a lot of character to admit he was wrong

Good explanation. Weight loss is explained through thermodynamics and law of conservation of energy. I have lost more than 30kg of in last 10 months. Started with Keto+intermitent fasting and now doing calorie counting. I can compare both approaches and in the end it all comes to caloric deficit. Both approaches did it's thing. My problem was when with Keto+intermitent fasting I hit weight loss plateau (again we come back to thermodynamics law of conservation of energy), because even with both combined I was taking more energy then I was spending. Then I switched to calories counting, higher protein intake, three times a week kettlebell HIIT workouts (to preserve and build a bit more muscle and to increase energy expendtire) and broke through it without problem. There is a bit more math to it, but in the end I believe it is healthier way to do it. Personally, today I wouldn't come back to keto+intermitent fasting.

Thank you for sharing your experience. And good for you for not being so dogmatic about keto + intermittent fasting, that even when it stopped working, you switched to something else.

Bro yes calorie definetly determines weightloss.this video is due to your lack of information about the hormonal side of different types of calories..for example fat have greater calorie value per gram compare to carb.but eating carb can have negative impact on your weightloss than eating same amount of fat even it has more calorie value per gram.this is because carb stimulates insulin and it will convert carb into fat.but the macro fat is having a neutral role in hormonal part of our body.this is why calorie value is not that much important in fatloss but cutting the carb is very essential and also including vegetables in your diet is key only because of the phyto nutrients and vitamins in those..........so calorie is a thing but only the second thing in weightloss,fin

I presented research to back up my claims. Do you have research to back up your claims?

@@FitnessSolutionsPlus please do some research brother i d have time for your research.i have experienced these things in my weightloss that is the main evidence to these.
@FitnessSolutionsPlus3 ай бұрын
@@ama.l9147 I did do extensive research. I published both videos and articles about it. If you make claims that contradict that, the onus is on you to present your research. Otherwise, all you have is an opinion, and your personal experience.
