So true. His real genius? Tasteful lines and knowing when not to play. That solo cpuld have emded up layer upon layer of guitars...instead he literally drops in at the very end with a perfect 2 second harmony line and thats all. Never over plays.

QOTSA have done it. There're a handful of obvious other greats, especially older..70s & early 1/2 90s. Regardless, this band is honestly so ridiculously extraordinary, it's ...ridiculous! 🤘♥️♥️♥️

I like how they are doing baker's dozen of like B-sides and outtakes and they just casually release one of the best songs they've ever written. Love the little mini movements, got like a progressive stoner blues thing going on.

sonically sending me to a different plane of existence when i listen ATW and that’s rare these days. haven’t gotten lost in a song this hard since listening to some of the old rock n’ roll icons & these guys are on their way to surpassing them. can’t wait to watch this band grow, they’ve created a space all their own to spread out & play infinitely with their unique brand of nondescript genre. fucking take us away ATW

The bridges and transitions are awe inspiring. I consider this band to be a leader in progressive cross-genre psychedelic desert rock music. Their sound is overwhelming for a modern trio.

This whole piece is phenomenal, but the section from 6:20 onwards transcends anything I've ever heard live. They find a way to keep building the sound, layers over layers, that by the time Parks sings "God speed", you're almost taking off with the anticipation. One of the most intense experiences I've ever lived through at a concert. Thank you so much for including this on your tour this year!
