You asked a question. In the German-speaking world we have the wonderful text by Paul Gerhardt "Geh aus aus mein Herz und suche Freud" meaning "Go outside, my darling, and seek joy (in this beautiful summer time)", published in 1653. This is an exuberant, loving description of nature and God's creation. So there is at least another glorious song about our natural world.

Beautiful, the tempo is perfect. Some folks just rush it all. You can also try another beautiful tune called Greystone of which few people know like me.😂 I recorded it a few days ago. Anyway, nice playing! Keep up the good work. This organ, reminds me of the organ which I used to play as a teen. 👍

Sorry but I much prefer Royal Oak as tune for this hymn. Much more musical. This reminds me of Monty Python every time I hear it.

Never heard of Royal Oak , it sounds like a pub! This is the only tune for this hymn.

@@giuliakhawaja7929 yes there’s a Royal Oak pub too! But the hymn tune is an English traditional melody arranged by the great Martin Shaw. It’s been a staple of Anglican hymn books around the world for over one hundred years.

@@Quince828 If it is used in the Anglican Church that may be why I don't know it. The only tune I have ever hear or sung is the one being (beautifully) played on the organ.
