All This BS for a Flat Tire?!

FWIW, I took a Prius to Right Toyota in Scottsdale, AZ and apprised the adviser of the symptoms I encountered in getting the car out to the street to load. Surprisingly, my next tow was another prius (same color, red) with bigger problems. I was able to put it in neutral and pushed it out of its parking space. Loaded it and took it to the same dealer. I was concerned a smidge that two lookalike priuses (prii?) might be a little confusing. No problem. In the short time that I was away, Right Toyota's service department had replaced the first car's 12volt battery, did a secondary service, washed the car and had it waiting for the customer by the time I showed up with the second one. That's Service.

I am a roadside assistance provider that sub contracts for AAA. I have handled calls in the past with other companies that do USAA and in all motor clubs you will find people that don't care. I apologize on behalf of the part of the industry that does care and hope you have not had issues like this since then.

you don't need to call a tow truck again just jack the car up and take the wheel off, all automotive parts retailers sale the universal key for the lugnut

USAA dropped the ball on this, they should have to pay all the extra expenses they caused.

+Jim Foreman Agreed! I contacted USAA and filed a grievance that who ever they sub-contract out their roadside services to that they are competent and have their own tools to do the job. This was by far the worst service I have ever had with them. We'll see how this claim goes..

I just pulled a big ass wood screw out of one of my front tires about a week ago. Its still driving but I`m on borrowed time.

+Al Campbell Oh wow! I found the plug they put in the tire and it was a pretty good size nail or screw.. She drove through a Home Depot parking lot and that's where it went flat.
