At 6:53 the tool with the crowbar type end is a handy item. It removes the staples from rental picnic tables and the staples left behind when the clear plastic is removed from the winterized screen porch. Husband hasn’t really used it for nails though

That is a good use. Some use it to pull tacks and staples out of furniture for repair the upholstery. Thanks for watching!

Nice haul! I like the Snap on Screwdrivers and wrenches, that alone is worth more than you paid for everything and the rest is a bonus!

Yes that pick at 5:28 is the top end of a PTO cable. It has that apparatus at the top, and then a long wire anywhere from three, or four feet long that goes down to engage the gearbox on the side of the transmission. The gearbox is to run a hydraulic pump to operate hydraulics. So all somebody did was pulled the cable out of the wire sheath that it runs through, cut it off a few inches from the top as you can see. Then they sharpened it on a bench grinder, and bent the very tip of it over at 90 degrees to make a pick. I've pushed, and pulled those red plastic handles easily tens of thousands of times on grain/silage trucks, to lift and lower grain boxes on tandem, and single axle trucks with standard transmissions.

Snap on wrenches were my favorites but I admit...the Craftsman metric are what I'm hunting these days. I look for as many as I can get to complete sets I've started. tHanks for the fun video!

I have a couple of circular saw blades made by Credo. Didn't know they made screwdrivers. Look just like Popular Mechanics. I have an SAE wrench set like that - combo open end/flare nut. Got them from Harbor Freight back in the late 90's. I got some warranty replacement screwdriver blades from Snap On by contacting customer service when we didn't have a truck come to the shop. There are a few videos on how to replace them. Just use something under the handle when you pry it off. One guy uses a washer. I use a piece of 0.032" aluminum. The truck guy replaced one once and marred the crap out of the handle. Funny how Snap On is the only one that replaces the blade. Mac and Matco just give you a new screwdriver. I did get a couple of the old formaldehyde based screwdrivers replaced since they were sweating and smelly. One of them may have been to the point where is was falling apart!! Thanks for the video!!

I have a number of screwdrivers with bad blade and a number with bad handles. Have not tried to replace a blade before. I haven't turned in a tool for warranty on over 25 years.... maybe one day. Thanks for watching!

They added the wings to the adjusting screw to lock in in place. Probably had a lot of repetitive clamping to do and were tired of it backing off.

I seen a video the other day about Napa auto parts selling Pittsburgh tools in the past. I guess similar to how they carry Carlyle tools today, it was not the the same as the tools you find today sellingy5 at harbor freight
