im so happy he can sing this song its soooo respectful of his brother. its super sad that his brother died in his sleep whilst Alex was mad at him. i know he doesnt want sympathy he just wants a hug and to know hes cared for.aww alex (internet hug)

His brother didn't die in his sleep, he commited suicide. Alex's parents only told him he died in his sleep to ease the pain, he found out the truth a few years later.

Natalia Reece He didnt commit suicide. He died because of his alcohol addiction and passed away in his sleep. Alex was 12 and Tom was 21

Alex is such an inspiration, I'm so proud of him. Not only is he an incredibly talented musician but he's gone through so much and puts himself in front of hundreds of thousands of people every day, for them to love or hate him as they please. He's my inspiration.

My older sister just passed away from liver failure from drinking too much. I've been listening to this so much. 💔 It's so heartbreaking losing my sister. I love this song. We had our problems but I'm so thankful a couple months before she died we reconnected and spent a lot of time together. We had so many laughs, tears, and sleepovers before this so I'm forever thankful. Rest in peace Ivonne. 💚

The pain and sadness are so clear in Alex's voice and it just gives me chills, such a beautiful song
@RedWing15911 жыл бұрын
This song gets me every time. Alex put so much love and thought into this song. You can see how hard he has to try to keep himself from breaking down,and that's really sad to see. No one should ever have to feel the pain of a loved one dying. I think this is All Time Low's best/most emotional song ever. It's really great to see how close and supporting they all are of each other. This is why I love All Time Low.

The whole time Jack and Zack keep looking over at Alex. And Rian at the end is smiling so much at Alex and then Alex starts fucking grinning and he's so happy. I love this band so much, they all care so much it hurts.

@ellatasticful13 жыл бұрын
@OppeltDrums alexs brother did exist and someone made up the name daniel for a fanfiction so people found that and just went along with it thinking it was his actual name but it isnt. tom is really his brothers name. alex just recently got a tattoo of a rose with initials of t.e.g next to it which stands for tom e.gaskarth. he even tweeted about it saying that he dousnt know where people came up with the name daniel but that his name was tom.he made lullabies for him which is amazing&beautiful

@Nessie9210 I couldn't agree more. I started crying. Not only because of what it was about, but because of the fact he had the courage to sing this song. At one point he himself looks like he's crying, but you can see the smile on his face. Jack, Rian, and Zack are encouraging and seemed so proud of him too. This just shows how amazing their band is. I'm proud of him too

The thing with the death of a close one is it' like a rollercoaster of emotions. You can talk about them with a smile some days and other's it hurts to think about them, this day was a good day for Alex and he felt okay to sing about it which I applaud him for. He might not play it other days because it's a bad day, that's all.
