Someone very important to me and my fiance sent this song to us in January of this year and told us to listen to it....he didn't even make it thru the first verse before his eyes started watering and he tried to leave the room, but I made him stay and told him he needed to hear it too. We tangled up in each other and both wiped the tears as they fell with every blink of our eyes..... See, we both were almost 6 months clean from addiction.....but def still struggling EVERY day. They say "make no mistake the day will come when you can't cover up what you've done...."---It couldn't have been more true. On Feb 22, a month later, I woke up and walked into the bathroom and found my fiance. He passed away from an overdose...now I listen to this song all the time and remember the look on his face when we heard it together and wonder all the things I could have done to prevent the moment where I found him and lost him all in that same moment that morning. A bad choice/decision....yes.....but that will never take away what a beautiful person he was despite the demons he fought every single day. our life together wasn't even close to complete.....and now we will never have the chances to grit our teeth and pull our hair together and scream fuck the world as we take our libe A back TOGETHER.....now I face every day without him and a part of my soul will NEVER feel full ever again. I was abused for 10 years my mom it started when I was 5 and then I got extremely suicidal and started self harming at the age of 9, and that only go worse when I started getting bullied at school for my self harm. But I am now 15 it does get better. and I finally live with my dad and my stepmom, I have been clean from self harm for 1 year now so I promise it does get better just look on the Brightside and scream if you have to go outside and throw things just let it out and don't let it build up inside. this song means so much to me. I can't stop listening to it and each day I listen to it, the more it means to me. It makes me cry honestly. It makes me think of 5thand 6th grade me because I've been bullied in 5th grade and had no friends. I had no friends in 6th grade and was really struggling, I had thought about suicide and self harm (I was only 11 years old at the time). I'm currently 13 years old and heading up to the highschool.
