Amy Marie I totally get what your saying haha :P the problem was the camera thing that they used to capture this was gliding right above our heads, so they literally told us to not or we may get a concussion. It was still amazing though! The first time I've been able to see them in seven years, and all because a friend won tickets the day before and I was able to make the drive

Can somebody explain why jack's guitar doesnt have a 3 way switch and just 1 volume knob??? Does he use both pickups all the time?? I dont even see a tone knob either

ATL's crew takes the 3 way switch off and puts a plug there because he sticks to a certain setting, and they don't want him to mess it up mid-song or when he's getting in the crowd or anything. It's more of a simplicity factor and all of the tones of theirs are monitored in the back.

Michael Seyfert It's more like to fill in some of the lead part though. Cuz Alex is focus on his singing during the verses while Jack would work on the strumming part on the verses.

Come play guitar and know why they're doing it, but I know Alex can strum the verses while the other guitarist ca. Play the leads. I just really don't think bands need 3 guitarists unless it's for harmonies and octaves. Just my personal opinion.

Michael Seyfert the backup guitarist makes the guitars sound a lot richer and they add in the extras that they have on the recording, or when Alex isn't playing they'll do that part.

the backup guitarist adds color to the sound. and guess what? he's the former bassist of the band, 'Boys Like Girls' - Bryan Donahue. And he's there to save Alex from singing the notes he can't hit in the recording just like the "SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!" part at the end.
