Hey you were right about Jokic and Murray becoming Champs in the future! You should make an updated part 2 after this coming season or the following one. Not a whole video since a lot of teams haven’t changed but just for the ones who have either changed their duo (ex. possibly a team like the Kings, Wolves, etc) or kept their duo but changed rank (ex. Nuggets). Either way love your channel ever since I found it. Thanks!

I guess not. Close though. They went 20 seasons in a row. They actually never had the record since the 76ers did 22 from 1950 50 to 71. The Trailblazers that played at the same time as the Jazz in that era also got 21. The Spurs recently tied the longest 22 season run by going from 1998-2019.

@reidtelofski272 жыл бұрын
Yeah but kemp ran out of his prime with Seattle and his athletic abilities and Gary Payton had to be the carrier even in hard times, westbrook won mvp, and so did Durant, they are both some of the greatest Seattle SuperSonics or Oklahoma City thunders, they are all great on defense and offense, westbrook with Oklahoma was a slam dunking beast and Durant was a swisher and a dunking slim beast, they all played great but the duo had a better player Durant, and maybe you could argue westbrook is better than Payton, if only kemp had his time for 3-5 more years than he would of been in the defensive player of the years and dunk contests and maybe even have won a ring.

The Pacers should be Reggie Miller and Rik Smits and that was the core duo in the peak days of the Pacers. I know Dale Davis made the All-Star in 2000 in the same season they made the finals, but Rik Smits was a more crucial contributor compared to Dale Davis when you look at the longevity of the Pacers run. But if your scope is really just for 2000 which was the Pacers best year, then it should really be Jalen Rose and Reggie Miller. Dale Davis was just a charity pick for the Eastern All-Stars that year since most of the elite Power Forwards were in the West. And for the Lakers, it should be Shaq and Kobe, I dominant force pairing with the player that comes closest to being a Michael Jordan replicate. If Shaq just took his fitness seriously, Shaq and Kobe would be number one on this list.

I'm a Celtics fan, and putting Bill Russel and Bob Cousy is reasonable. But at the same time can we mention that they got there rings from a 'weak era' (no disrespect to these players they had an amazing impact on the court and off changing the way of basketball). Further proving my point Bill Russel had 8 Hall of Famers on his team as a rookie. Mentioning the fact that Bill only had challenge from Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West. That and his stats averaging 15 Points 23 Rebounds and 4 Assist. But it all comes to a close when speaking on his percentage. As he would shoot 11/25 in the Mid Ranged area need to remind that the majority of his shots did come from the paint as Bill Russel was not a shooter. Then there is his Free Throw % Which was 14/25 or 56%. Then the shorter amounts of games being played (72) as we have seen others like 1995-96 Bulls win 72 games and the 2015-16 Warriors win 73. And all of that adding up to the skill being shown in the Late 1950s - 1960s. And then there is the shorter Playoff Run as they would only play 4 Games In the NBA Finals. Who knows what would have happened if there was 4 Games to be played. And don't even get me started on Bob Cousy. With That being said Larry Bird and Kevin McHale, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, and Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have preformed better than the 1960's Celtics. I would go into my stats for people who still need proof that these players have preformed better. But without Bill Russel Celtics would have a little ring collection so no disrespect towards Bill Russel as I am pretty sure this video went off of the Impact that the players made on the team. But if it went off of the better players it would be tough for a team to represent the Celtics.

Stockton leads (by a huge amount) in 2 of the 5 main recorded statistics (steals and assists) and Malone is 3 all time in scoring behind only Kareem and Lebron. More athletic competition doesn't make modern eras tougher. Athleticism sky rockets as fouls increase, and physical contact plummets. Players have more energy and less injury needed to train harder. Athleticism alone, isn't enough to determine toughness, you should also factor in physicality. Because if players of today were allowed hard fouls, checking, charging w/o techs, and lane crowding; they wouldn't be able to train nearly as hard. More training, less gaming, as players sit out games for unknown overtraining ailments. Those 'sit out' games allow recovery throughout the season which then leads to rejuvenation, which then leads to stat padding in games played.
