Well, they are. I suppose I might not have been super clear. Bowser's ship is literally an airship. However the logo; Baby Bowser's face and two arms attached to the front of a ship is a likely reference to the King of Red Lions. Hes part of a lion attached to a ship.

I have a theory on Baby Park. In Double Dash, that's when the course first opens and as you see in game, business is going well. In MKDS, the course is closed as it is going through remodeling but characters are still allowed to race on it. In MK8, the track reopens as a heavily revamped amusement park. So, what do you think?

Wrong. Wind Waker's release date in Japan (first release) was December 13th, 2002. Double Dash's release date in Japan (first release) was November 7th, 2003. Roughly 1 year apart.
