R.I.P. Billy Joe Shaver. He passed away today at the age of 81. It was a great honor that this legend appeared on our show.

It is funny how she took back the interview after the sack full comments by BJS, and then he went right back into telling his story. Good job by the interview, she was respectful and patient - most of all she did not ask an old man anything stupid. I am sure he has told that story a 1000 times or more, but it was nice to hear again.

You did a great job Interviewing him…he liked your questions, and even blushed a few times. That’s the good stuff…… I never met him, that I know of, however met Eddie. I can say one thing for certain, I hope that I can see those two playing together again when I get to sit in at the Great Amphitheater in the Sky. ❤️

I was one of the lucky ones who got to see Billy Joe and his son Eddy play together. It was Oct of 99, just a few months before Eddy passed away. I will never forget that night. The two of them together was like nothing I have saw before or since. The whole story of Billy Joe's wife and then Eddy passing away still haunts me to this day. Still Billy Joe carries on. He believes in the Good Lord and knows his family will be together again one day.

Johnny Rocco I'd love to see him love before he passes. I bought greatest hits album just because I found out all the songs he wrote and I was blown I way on how honest the lyrics were. Also how each song has a catchy melody.

Johnny Rocco He also had to have bypass surgery a couple months after Eddy and his wife death. I love how always talks about how Christ got him through.

Thank the Lord that I've received Salvation too. I look forward to spending eternity in Heaven worshiping Jesus Christ, and being able to talk with all of the country music legends.

i can tell from your comment and your reply that you have no business anywhere near billy joe shaver or his music.it's something you could never understand on the level that us fans do.you obviously have no respect for him so you really need to just fuck off.
@camlarson28137 жыл бұрын
have you gone to another country to see him? I have when he was touring with Kinky Friedman. You are just a hot head that cant call a spade a spade, Billy is losing the plot in this video, but then no one is blinder than he who will not see
