Orb Origin is considered his actual base form after being grant full power at the end of The Origin Saga. He sealed away Orb Origin within Magga Zetton, swore to never use it again due to an accident that caused the death of his girlfriend Natasha in the first episode of the series. His official final form is Orb Trinity, which is a form using Ginga, Victory and X fusion card.

To be honest, Orb Trinity is a terrible final form for Orb. Dude got wreck on his first debut and need Juggler and Ultraseven to help him out. Heck, he got wreck by Reibatos too and almost get replaced by Emerium Slugger as Orb's strongest form (until they revert the role back for Orb Trinity). He also got wreck by Galactron MK2 and still need help from X Beta Spark Armor to defeat Reibatos in UGF:TDC (until Tartarus come and save Reibatos). Personally, I prefer if they just stick with Orb Origin as Orb's final form since it's kinda cool to have your original form as your strongest form. Not to mention, Orb regaining his Origin form is more emotionally impactful than Orb Trinity.

Correcting a few things here so excuse me: Orb Origin was sealed away, but it wasn't sealed *within* Maga Zetton. Orb wasn't in his prime during the battle and forced himself to unleash all of his powers, sealing the form away in exchange, basically putting it to sleep after overworking it. Also Natasha is not dead, shown by later episodes in the show, with Juggler having saved her and she lived long and even having descendants, that being Naomi. Also she's not Gai's _girlfriend_ but most people would think they are since apparently platonic relationship can't exist but yeah that's about it.

Orb Trinity has alot of ideas that could become a great final form (aside from Orb Origin) but the execution that they made in the Orb Movie was so poorly that it just feels like a useless final form (cosidering the 3 Ultras that make up this form got severely nerfed). Honestly, I love Orb Trinity but I do get it why most people prefer Orb Origin since well It's damn cool to see your Original form getting the full potential that it deserves.

Orb Trinity is his TRUE final form, which, as you said, did not live up to its hype as a final form, but it's STILL a TRUE final form nonetheless. One does not simply use a final form and expect to fight ALONE.

It's amazing that you put together this one of a kind video history of Ultraman, 57 years in 46 1/2 minutes. From Showa to Heisei to New Generation Heroes to the current Reiwa Era, 1966 to 2023, Ultraman to Blazar, and everything and everybody in between, even the adversaries and the Netflix Ultraman series. Congratulations for putting this together. Some had to be blurred to keep the video intact and viewable ( like Grigio, Gruebe and Dinas ). but, job well done! That and the recent New Generation Heroes ( from Ginga to Blazar. Thankfully he's part of the roster now ) are my favorites...and most of your videos. I guess it was great timing to come back to Ultraman two years ago, and I'll continue to enjoy the journey! You're never too old to enjoy Ultraman ( I'm 53 1/2 years old BTW, what fun it is! 😉! )!

For me Orb Origin is consider his Original non form which was upgraded to Version 2. I don't see it as a final form, it's just that the Orb Origin Card was stuck on Zeppandon which makes him to use fusion form only

“New Gen” is not actually an era of Japan. Heisei was ended at March 2019. So basically Ginga-R/B is still a heisei, New Gen is basically a squad or group in Ultras siries. And there’s no “New Generation” Era in Japan’s period. Also, the reason why they doesn’t use “Era” in Ultraman because, their timeline is different from actual year, unlike Kamen Rider, which they use the real year for every rider. (Sorry for the bad Grammar)
