Burst Impact would have lowkey been decent for playground Burn Decks, especially since it can get up to 2700 or 3300 damage depending on how full the field is.

Not too mention the card we do have, burst return, is supposed to combo with this card by returning elemental heroes you controll to your hand. Of course a two card combo for a normal monster wouldn't be meta but it would be nice to have.

And thus, GX begins. My opinions: Wild Half: Bad, specific, and situational at best. Burst Impact: If this destroyed only your opponent's cards, and backrow as well, this MIGHT be worth playing. As it is, there's better generic wipes you'd use that don't require you to run a useless vanilla. Spy Hero: Probably not worth playing, but might have a faint hint of use in a mirror match. Courageous Charge: Bad. Clay Wrap: Worse than MST in every conceivable way. Mud Max: Worse than E-call in every conceivable way. Cross Heart: Dang. While I don't think you'd play this while stuff like Change of Heart is available, it's at least interesting that the theft is permanent. Insurance: Bad. Hero's Rule Five Freedoms: Banishing from the grave on a trap could make for some nice disruption. Invincible Hero: Bad. Soul Union: Just use Honest Neos. Hidden Wish: What. Love Letter: What what. Dress up: Okay, but why do you need an equip to attack an opponent's monster? Dramatic Crossroad: Better than the last few cards, but still not great. Magnet Warrior Plus/Minus Archetype: Might have been a fun casual option at the time (if a bit pack filler-y), but totally useless now. Last Magnet: Bad. Amorphous Barrier: Bad, and could potentially lock yourself out of the game if you use the recycling effect. Allegro Toile: While I think you'd still run MST 99% of the time, the fact that this can't be countered means it would at least have a niche. Prima Light: Bad. Eucalyptus Mole: Infinitely worse than the other type/attribute searchers of the day, since Koala is such a narrow set of monsters. Koala March: IF Koala was an actual viable archetype, this would be a staple. But it isn't, so this isn't. Animal Trail: Useless nowadays, but would have been reasonable at the time. Card from a Different Dimension: The fact that it's symmetrical card draw automatically makes it bad, regardless of how hard it is to successfully use. Time Fusion: You could use this, or you could not be a silly person and just play Monster Reborn. Maiden in Love: Bad. Cupid's Kiss: Worse. Happy Marriage: Too specific and awkward to use, even if it wasn't just an attack boosting equip. Defense Maiden: Bad. Attachment Dragon: Spending a normal summon on an equip that ONLY changes battle position? Geez, that's actually embarrassing. Vampire Bat: Not something you'd play now, but it's fine for the time. Zombie Werewolf: Less excusable than the bats, however. Illusion Gate: At the time, this would have been one of the most busted, banned cards in the game, period. Nowadays... it'd probably still be really good, probably limited to one copy instead of banned, though. Genesis Crisis: The fact that you have to control the really-bad Vampire Genesis to even use this automatically makes it useless. Infernalvania: Really freaking good. A reusable field wipe that dumps zombies in the graveyard? Yes please. Would absolutely give Zombie World a run for it's money. Zombie Bed: Bad. Red Ghost Moon: Bad. Amazoness Call: Might actually be worth using if it was a quickplay. Useless as it is. Amazoness Charm: Bad. Amazoness Trainer: Bad. Amazoness Arena: It's kind of spectacular how little this card actually does. Might as well be blank. Pride of Tribe: Bad. Battle searchers like this should at LEAST let you pick what you search. Picador Fiend: Bad. Banderillo Fiend: Eh. Would be better if it could trigger on special summon, too. Not really worth using as-is. Matador Fiend: Not, strictly, bad, but too much of an investment for not enough payoff. Dark Arena: Goofy casual option, but not competitive. Could be fun, though. Both Dark Scorpion cards: Bad. The entire Alchemy Beast archetype: Bad. Special shoutout to Achemic Kettle, which is just a Macro Cosmos on yourself with no other benefit. Soul Guide: Bad. Resurrection Tribute: This LOOKS okay at a glance, but then you realize it's not a quickplay, and is therefore absurdly bad. Dizzy Angel: Bad. Dizzy Tiger: Bad. Flipping the Table: Not a very consistent field nuke. Also, yay, alcoholic rage. Hot Sauce Bottle: When you look worse than Poison of the Old Man, you know you've got a quality card. Defense Wall: Bad. Also you can't summon in face-up defense, so what even is the point? One-on-One Fight: Cool name, bad card. Why do you need a trap to attack a monster you want to attack? Cursed Waters Level 3: Had to read the wiki to understand how this works. Not very well, I'd say. The tennis archetype: Bad. Also, Deuce seems like an obnoxious card to play with, or against. Receive Ace: Singling out this card, because it's alittle interesting. Blocking a single attack, doing 1500 burn damage, and milling three cards are not great effects on their own, and not worth a card individually. But together, all at once? Might actually have some value. Not sure what archetype would benefit from it (maybe Volcanics?), but there's legitimate potential here. Half-Goblin: Not worth the cost. Also, the fact that it isn't a warrior like other goblins is annoying. Drawler: Bad. Drawber: What in the hell man?! This card is nuts. If you have any way of gaining information about your opponent's next draw (Convulsion of Nature being the funniest way), this effect basically wins you the game by itself. Card Loan: So... it's Upstart Goblin, but worse in every conceivable way. Miracle Draw: Bad. Gamble Angel Bunny: Bad. There were some legitimately interesting cards in this lot. Also lots of weird nonsense cards, like I expected.

Illusion Gate seems pretty OP. The Spy Hero feels like it could be good in some decks and against some matchups. I don't see why you would play any of the amazoness cards here, though. Maybe if Amazoness Call (anime version) would let you special monsters with the same name as materials, then it might be worth considering. For the other cards, changing every monster to attack position is pretty worthless, the Amazoness Tiger one seems way too convoluted and specific when you already have the trap that banishes, and you can get them to high attack really easily, the field spell is much worse then the one they already have, and the trap could have been useful, but it doesn't seem worth running over generic staples.

Time for the usual card review. Wild Half: This card is already bad if you didn't have to control Wildheart. Never give your opponent free stuff in YGO ever, unless it's a lockdown. This was used twice only once was it successful, against Nightshroud/Atticus. On EDOPro it also states that token monster keeps it's effects for that extra pinch of uselessness. Burst Impact: Why couldn't we have this card, instead of Burst Return? Konami feared Dark Hole like cards back in GX despite this would only be good in casual formats cause it requires Burstinatrix. Spy Hero: This is odd ball. It's either format dependent or meta cause stealing spells from your opponent especially in the GX era is broken. Now adays, it's format dependent if it remains like this. That cost is irrelevant. Courageous Charge: This card is bad in every way shape or form. (Also insert Clayman support memes here) Clay Wrap: Clayman support memes. Also bad MST clone. It's only redeeming quality is that it sends. Also requiring it to be popped to trigger is a terrible idea. Mud Max: Clayman Support Memes. This card is hilarious and that's all I can say about it. Cross Heart: This card would amazing until Zexal Format. You can also trigger it yourself by crashing. Little to no downside as the switch is permanent. Insurance: Giant Trunade bait, also it's bad. LP gain is irrelevant. Heros Rule 1: Five Freedoms: This would be okay in old formats, now it's completely irrlevant. Also Edopro claims, It's always treated as a rose card, Thanks EdoPro lol Invincible Hero: It's just Wabakou but worse. Soul Union: Unless it's Bladegde or fusion, this card isn't good. Outclassed by other attack gains in the game. Hidden Wish: Trunade for LP gain and Tremendous Fire burn to the opponent. Also it's bad. That artwork is a legendary meme depending who you ask. Love Letter: A meme card, it's never going off and the opponent is going to choose the least detrimental effect. Dress Up: Bad equip, and the position change is irrelevant. Dramatic Crossroads: The second effect is never going off. Only way its going to is by"""Bribery""". On it's own, it's just Confiscation but worse. Magnet Warrior Sigma +/-/Omega -: All have the same effect. They're terrible. Conduction Warrior Linear Magnum Plus Minus: Prototype Machina Fortress is all I can really say. Magnet Conductor Plus: Only one monster it targets. Recovery for an unfinished unplanned archetype. Power Off: Only works with Conduction Warrior Liner Magnum Plus Minus. Also it's bad, why not make it a quick effect on the monster itself. It's a brick 9 times out of ten Last Magnet: Oh no my 800 attack points what ever will I do. Also triggering after a monster is destroyed is a terrible condition. One Hundred Thousand Gauss: This card is bad, also it targets. Magnet Force Minus: Force attack cards are bad by proxy. This card when pulled off once, failed miserably. Amorphous Barrier: Radiant Mirror Force version of Negate Attack. Negate Attack clones are terrible. Also that recovery is awful. Allegro Toile: This card would be pretty good in older formats. Now it's mediocre even with it's spell speed 4 effect for backrow. Prima Light: Redundant card, also only works with anime Cyber Prima as TCG/OCG Cyber Prima effect only works when tribute summoned. Eucalyptus Mole: Barely any Koala cards, also a battle floater isn't good by mid GX era standards outside casual formats. Koala March: Bad Swarming and circumstantial Animal Trail: Having a monster be destroyed in battle for a generic search is a horrible condition. Otherwise this would have been decent in slower formats cause Beast is not a well supported type. Card from a Different Dimension: Activation is circumstantial, also never give your opponent free stuff. Time Fusion: Mediocre Revival, bad restriction and activation is of course, meant to synergize with Card from a Different Dimension. Maiden in Love: Does nothing on it's own and battle protection in attack mode with low attack is Ludacris. Cupids Kiss: Unless you combo with specific cards, not going off. Defense Maiden: This only works cause Jaden plays like a goof in the anime. Happy Marriage: Mediocre attack boost to prevent less damage from Maiden. If you equip it to the monster you stole, it's just Megamorph with extra steps. Attachment Dragon: Only exist to stop Rampart Blaster. It's awful. Vampire Bat: 200 attack memes! Also bad protection. Zombie Werewolf: Comes back twice, attack boost doesn't stack and it's bad. Illusion Gate: This card is busted if it's not negated. Anime drawback is send a soul to Sacred Beast. Tag Force/Video game draw back, you lose 90% of current LP. Not a cost unless you screw up or don't win that turn lol. Genesis Crisis: Bad search condition. Just to fuel Vampire Genesis which is a mediocre boss monsters, also congrats your board dies to Hammer Shot, good job. Infernalvania: Would be decent if that draw back wasn't on the card. Makes it unplayable, older zombie decks live and die by their normal summon. Zombie Bed: Waking the Dragon this ain't. Exist as bait. Error on video. The card is called Red Ghost Moon: Fancier Draining Shield. Amazoness Call: It's just De-fusion but a normal spell, AKA its bad. Amzoness Charm: Reverse Earthquake and the attack boost to the opponent is only there for theme. Amazoness Trainer: Circumstantial and it's bad. Amazoness Arena: MEMES Pride of Tribe: Bad floating Picator Fiend: Direct attack cards by nature are bad if that's all they do. Also it's a warrior not a fiend so it's misleading lol. Banderillo Fiend: Worse Exile Force, also it's a warrior not a fiend. Ritual of Matador and Matador Fiend: This only combos with Dark Arena, and it's beginners bait card. Also: in Tag Force and other video games, it's Called Archfiend Matador. Dark Arena: Forcing attacks is not good on it's own. Choosing which target isn't enough. Dark Scorpion Tragedy of Love: Too specific for a Dark Hole clone. Still a support card Dark Scorpions desperately needs. Retreat of the Dark Scorpions: Dodge Destruction and that's it. It's horrid. Also want to try and get that achievement in video games using this card? I don't think so. Alchemy Beast Archetype: Look up JCD Godot Dynasty of the Useless Alchemy Beast video. He's said everything that needs to be said about this terrible archetype. Soul Guide: LP gain is irrelevant and searching the same card is a bad idea with a bad cost. Also restriction is terrible. Resurrection Tribute: Only exist to bring back Hamon and destroy Neo Bubbleman. Also EdoPro says it also ignores summon condition cause Sacred Beasts are Nomi Monsters. Dizzy Angel: Specific protection, and it's bad. Dizzy Tiger: Only countering Flip Monsters isn't good enough even for GX. Flipping the Table: Drawback being unable to summon is bad, also pop your own cards to destroy equal amount of cards is horrible. Hot Sause Bottle: Ignoring memes. Bad Hinotama. Play Tremendous Fire if you want burn. Defense Wall: Only works in anime land. Otherwise Mediocre wall. One on One Fight: Memes of watching two monsters beat each other up. Also bad card. Curse Water Level 3: Bad swarming with Legendary Ocean. The Big Server: Tennis reference. Dealing Damage for search and give your opponent free stuff is a horrible idea. Service Ace: Want RNG for burn? Here you go. Play Tremendous Fire for burn, it being searchable by one monster isn't good, also why a stupid cost? Smash Ace: Play Tremendous Fire. Also the art. In a real Tennis match you will get disqualified. Giant Racket: Only combos with two cards its bad. Deuce: Tennis reference. Also there's a lot of ruling issues with this card on EdoPro. Receive Ace: Mediocre attack stop and burn. Milling is not a cost. For those saying you can play it in Lightsworn, stop and reconsider your life choices. Lightsworns wouldn't touch this card within a ten foot pole. Half Goblin: Bad swarming and horrid cost. Drawler: Go minus 4 for a mediocre monster. Playing Vanilla monsters is less embarrassing then playing this card. Also return to bottom of the deck is not a good effect. Drawber: Only works cause anime. Unless you're playing Convulsion of Nature it's never going off legitimately. Card Loan: Play Upstart Goblin and ignore this embarrassment. Miracle Draw: Play Tremendous Fire. Also not going off without Convulsion of Nature. Gamble Angel Bunny: Want to gamble for Tremendous Fire? Now you can. Also it's just Abare Ushioni, which is also not a good card. That's all Folks.

Alchemy beast is something i want since i saw them they could make so many good supports for that deck, also i would change something for the beasts and make them a "spell monster" or better to pendelum monsters that cant be normal or pendel summoned but give them some extra abilitys if you play them as a spell card

They need a pretty massive overhaul if they want to be printed IRL. The entire deck is just a bunch of monster, each of them having their own specific spell card needed to summon them, and then after that all they do is have 500 atk points and can attack directly

Look up Dynasty of the Useless Alchemy Beasts from JCD Godot/Jada Kaiser and you will quickly change your tune, No one sane likes Alchemy Beasts, they are terrible

Attachment Dragon's effect should be activated from your hand, instead of giving up a Normal Summon (because why would you eg. Special Summon with One for One?) Also the rest should be errata too, it sounds goofy imo.

Lol I only saw the header in the video where it says every single unreleased card in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The dumb icons on my phone pop up adds blocked the rise of the sacred beast part. So at the time of watching I only went off of that first section
