Majin sonic was originally supposed to be more on the goofy side, evident by the Japanese boss music originally used for the screen. However, in the American version of sonic cd the boss music is much creepier, spooking many kids (including me).

For the fatal error victim's. Metal Sonic was never in the mod or the victim list as he never appeared in Sonic 3. The steel sonic you see is actually Mecha Sonic who appeared in Sonic 3. You dont see other characters like Amy,Mighty and Ray is because they never appeared in Sonic 3.

XD But I am a sonic fan, just not quite knowledgeable on the “exes” either; I didn’t even realize that people were making ‘more’, like sort of horror-Sonic AU’s or something. Am I getting this right? you're talking about John Carpenter's version of The Thing. the original was titled The Thing from another world which was a black and white B- alien movie from 1951. the 1982 version by John Carpenter the same man who made Halloween showed it as a parasite that assimilates it's host making the movie a body horror flick that might be what inspired the Skinwalker Virus which also sounds like a Spiderman villain known as The Thousand. he was a man named Larry King who knew Spiderman's real identity and wanted to be him so he found the spider that bit Peter Parker but rather than letting it bite him, he ate it and that turned him into a hivemind of thousands of spiders hence his name. he eats his victims from the inside and use their skin as a disguise which also similar to the virus.
