I'll never get tired of their beautiful moments. And how poetic is, at the beginning of episode 5 "Begs the question, young Kiramman. What are you shooting for?" and in the end of the episode she shoot to save Vi's life...That's so beautifully done. Vi always had to be the one who protect, the only ones doing it for her were her parents and Vander and she lost'em all. Then Caitlyn came and wanted to protect Violet.

Personally I think their relationship progression is perfect. It makes sense, coming from such different backgrounds and with Vi’s inherent distrust of everyone from Piltover, that they’d be slow to move into anything explicitly romantic (though they’re really toeing the line there) despite the clear developing of feelings. Now that they’re in a place where they know they can trust each other and being on the same small team trying to prevent the coming war, there won’t be much stopping them from accepting and acting on their feelings when they get a moment to themselves.

The part that I think deserves more recognition (not that any of these aren’t amazing) is when Caitlyn is asked to identify the owner of the grenades and she hesitates. She basically went down into the Undercity to track down Jinx, retrieve the stone, and bring her to justice. Yet in this moment she cant even bring herself to name Jinx as the menace, despite all that she’s done, and it’s completely because of Vi. Caitlyn knows now how much Powder meant to Vi, that Vi blames herself for Powder’s transformation, and that she still has hope that her sister is still reachable. Caitlyn even glances over at Vi who, In an equally touching moment, grips her hand reassuringly and let’s her off the hook by identifying Jinx herself.

I think the scene when Caitlyn talks with Ekko about how being in the Underworld made her see the problem, and something must be done about it is really overlooked. The look Vi gives to Caitlyn is something else. You can tell Vi did not expect to hear those words, this was the first time in her life that a person from the topside was genuinely concerned about Zaun. That really made her think everything is possible, and the oil and water can be mixed, you know.

When Caitlyn asked "What about us?", that sh*t hit hard.

I love the development their physical affection throughout the series. At first, Vi is standoffish and gruff, which is understandable considering she just got out of a corrupt prison where officers would beat the shit out of her for funsies. The only time she accepts Cait’s touch at all is when she literally can’t move on her own after Sevika kicked her ass in episode 5. However, Vi’s demeanor greatly changes when she’s injured and Cait has to give her that dose of Shimmer. At this point, Vi is complete vulnerable and is on the brink of death. When the Shimmer takes affect, the first thing she sees is Cait gently cradling her face and soothing her through the pain. I think this was the moment when Vi realized that Cair was truly on her side and wanted to protect her from anything that tries to harm her. Then of course there is the bed scene, which marks the first time Vi not only accepts Cait’s touch but grasped on to it, leaning into Cait like she’s her anchor or safe space. Vi has always been forced into the position of the fearless leader and protector so seeing her finally embrace her vulnerability and lean on those she loves for support is so beautiful 🤧

She believes her entire family to be dead, remember her last image of Powder was seeing her crying with Silco (knife in hand) standing over her ready for the kill. She then spends years in prison, beaten by basically everyone (certainly the guards) with no one she can trust and the images of her family (though mostly her sister) going through her mind. The extended lore (not shown in the series) show the guards logbook, stating that she screamed for Powder so much, the guards though she was crying out for a drug. When Caitlyn meets her, she has accepted this hell as her life. Everything has been taken from her. Until she sees her sister's drawings and realises she is still alive, only to find out she willingly works for the very man who destroyed her family and seems to love him for it. Then Caitlyn, a stranger and (former) enforcer helps her, thus showing how starved for affection and deeply traumatised Vi truly is.

that's not the reason why Jayce brought those flowers for her. Those flowers as get well gifts. Not romantic gifts. and a relationship between them was never going to happen because in episodes 1 - 3,(before the time jump) Jayce was 24 YEARS OLD while Caitlyn was around the same age as Vi which according to the league of legends archives, was 17 YEARS OLD during that time. Caitlyn was most likely 16 or 17 during that time. Some even speculated she might be 2 years younger than Vi.
