This video explains every Warhammer Titan in the Attack on Titan anime and manga. The Warhammer Titan is one of 9 titan shifters in AOT and there have been several iterations of it throughout the series. In the AOT manga we have currently seen more warhammer titans than in the anime, which has only had 2 Warhammer Titans so far (Lara Tybur & Eren Yaeger). The manga displays Warhammer Titans of the past, some of which have interesting designs. This video will explain the backstory of all Warhammer Titans (that we know of) and also commentate on the designs of the ancient titans.

In this video I’m gonna explain every Warhammer Titan in the history of attack on titan, ranging from nearly 2000 years ago all the way up till the present day of the series. The Warhammer has the unique ability to create anything it wants with titan hardening, as well as being able to remotely control the titan from inside a crystal. It’s flesh is usually covered in a white shell made from titan hardening.
The first warhammer titan on this list is Lara Tybur, who was a member of the prestigious Tybur family. For at least a few hundred years, the Tybur family had exclusive possession of the warhammer titan, with Lara being the final one of them to have it. Since the events of the great titan war, the Tybur family secretly ruled over Marley, with Willy Tybur being the leader of their clan. As time progressed we got a small hint that Lara Tybur might be important, as she was the only family member that Willy decided to bring to his declaration of war against Paradis.
Lara’s warhammer titan had a thin shell of hardening covering it’s body, but it’s eyes and mouth were visible thanks to the striped design in those areas. Pieck stated that the Tybur’s never used their titan against an enemy nation, meaning that Lara’s battle with Eren was the first ever real fight she had with this thing. That makes it even more impressive that she was able to create so many items, including a warhammer titan crossbow.
The next Warhammer titan on this list is none other than Eren Yaeger, who mercilessly stole the power after using Porco as a nutcracker titan.
Unlike his predecessor, Eren does not come from a noble bloodline and was just a kid born within the walls on Paradis island. When he was 10 years old, the warriors of Marley launched their assault on Paraids by destroying wall Maria, with Eren’s mother being eaten in the process. On that same day, Eren’s father Grisha used the power of his Attack Titan to steal the founding titan from the royal family. With the power of two titans, Grisha would then give these abilities to his son, with Eren not realising he was a titan shifter until years later. At 19 years old, Eren infiltrated Marley by himself, going undercover as a wounded soldier. His primary goal was to collect his half-brother Zeke and bring him back to Paradis island, but along the way he would do to Marley what was done to his homeland as a child. Eren would kill Willy Tybur, Marlyean military generals, world leaders, innocent citizens of Liberio and last but not least, Lara Tybur. Eren would use the biting strength of Porco’s jaw titan to crush the crystal that lara tybur was in, drinking the contents of her spine and inheriting the warhammer titan.
Eren’s warhammer titan looks exactly the same as his regular titan form.
Even without the typical warhammer titan look, eren was very proficient with this power, as he created massive spikes out the ground that even pierced through the armoured titan. This however was not even the first time he used the power, as in the chapter 'Guides', Eren broke himself out of his underground before sealing the escape route so no one could follow him.
As far as Warhammer’s go there has probably never been one as fearsome as Eren Jaeger.

@@AA-tz2bm I mean, Lara Tybur survived the thunder spears and Eren's barrage of punches, but that's only because she was in her crystal as all Warhammer Titan users are held in crystals and not the Titan body itself, but of course, this doesn't seem to be the case since she was taken out again via the nape this time. Maybe 90% of the Titans died, but 10% survived; like you said, mostly Armored Titans probably survived, but maybe some other surviving Titans like a few Attack Titans, some Jaw Titans, and maybe the cloaked Warhammer Titan could've survived. That would suck though, considering a lot of us really wanted to see more of that Warhammer Titan.

You know what's funny, is the scythe may be one of the better titan-fighting weapons if you're the same size as them. Anything like a sword would only disable, but you can use the scythe's odd shape to reach around and attack the nape, or stab through the nape from the side, something most other weapons would have a harder time doing.

I just thought of the most deadliest titan combination. Imagine if someone obtained the colossus and warhammer titan?! I'd imagine it would have the colossus triggered nuke explosion when transforming, but also have the warhammer body hardening which would be strong enough to hold all of the colossus titans heat, preventing the colossus titan from burning up its tissue. Preserving the body for as long as needed! Then could you imagine the weapons it could make?!?!? That would be insane!!!

Honestly a Scythe would be a very logical and deadly weapon for a Warhammer Titan to use especially against other Titans and Titan Shifters as it gives them extra reach and advantage as the Nape is the weak point and the scythe would be abled to easily slash at that. Most other Warhammer Titans weapons are overly defensive or meant for disabling a target's movement making it easy to capture an enemy Titan Shifter for example to easily gain their powers for the other side, meanwhile yhe scythe is meant for full on assassination or combat.

Btw, an interesting thing about Warhamer shifters:Lara used a crossbow, wich is a pretty complicated weapon to made, while most of ancient titans used bows as they probably lived before the invention of a crossbow. But in not going to be bias, when in comes to defense and just straight up raw physical power, the armor titan thanks the win sense it is basically a tank. I'm ngl, I never seen the armor as a offensive titan though. Warhammer titan is most likely the second most versatile titan to have sense it is literally capable of ranged and close combat attack, plus it has it's hardening. The only titan I'd say is better then the warhammer is the colossus.

I have a thought, by the looks of it, the things it creates doesn't seem to disappear after it is created, and it seems if the wielder knows the mechanism of a weapon like the crossbow they could make anything, in theory a warhammer titan can create a simple gun but it's huge that it is essentially a cannon and just use human made ammunition, with that you can have an extremely flexible and very mobile tank, that can have multiple weapons at the same time by storing titan made guns before a battle starts

While it is possible that the dotted helm Warhammer might have been friends with that particular Jaws, it could also be possible that they decided to emulate the helm of a Jaws they had frequent run ins with as enemies... either as acknowledgement of a worthy foe or a means to taunt them, or a later inheritor of the Jaws by taking up the appearance of the predecessor.

Lara is so underrated She battled Eren when she had no experience and training, and yet managed to defeat him the first time and made him transform 2 more times,, plus battling the survey corps (the marleyan soldiers were already dead midbattle, so lara was outnumbered and yet made a good fight),, and the fact that this happened when eren took the first hit before she finished transforming. She’s pretty epic for nearly winning a battle with someone who’s had 4 years of training and experience Edit: I’m not saying Lara is strong, i’m just saying that the warhammer is pretty powerful (even comparable to the colossal) and that she was good at holding Eren down

warhammers can definitely make a bendable hardening, that's what actually what their skin was being cpvered with. also, hardening is hardened titan flesh so it's definitely possible, they can not completely freeze it but still make the flesh durable like a fiber
