Indeed, all those things honestly is what WoW has been lacking for even longer than the Story and other aspects of the game. They really made a jump in Cata/MoP to add small QoL stuff, but slowly after shifted to trying to introduce these "New" "Ground Breaking" Xpac features instead of all the small things that have been kinda outdated for what feels like years. (Character Screens, by now should be able to choose backgrounds, every character being able to collect mogs of all kinds, the pet stables being overhauled cause they were pretty damn bare bones tbh, and more.) But glad to see they are moving in a good direction and giving attention to the details this time around.

3:22 What about instead of a screen you log in to your Warband "Garrison" and all your alts are roaming in there. You can show items/achievements you've collected throughout your adventures(e.g. things from your mount/toy/gear tabs) and you can swap to an alt by right click menu selection and then like in GTA 5(Warcraft flavored) you zone in to them. You will have portals to every major point of interest(e.g. cities, legion zones etc. depending on character level) and continue your story from there or use your garrison stone that will port you back to where you last logged out for when you are farming that one specific item or the inn where you set down for some well deserved rest.

My engineer could easily share materials with my blacksmith without needing to think about how much of what ore I need to send in the mail.

QoL is funny, it adds up. I hope it's a good sign. As an aside the distance inhibitor is warband bank access. Initially a 3 hour cooldown, goes down with each max level character. Like how the alt experience bonus on alts goes up with each max level character.

What this game needs, is to get rid of the obnoxious daze effect. it's 2024. Nothing feels quite as tilting as being dazed by some random mob while 1v1 (fyi, daze can't even be countered like normal snares are), or god forbid - getting dazed while flying around.

One question I've always had about Warbands is this : If you can collect any transmog on any character, are they gonna lock old raid loot once per week per ACCOUNT? Otherwise couldnt you just run it multiple times with each character and unlock mogs SUPER fast?

there are limitations though, like tier sets have to be unlocked by their respective classes, so that will slow down acquisition, even if its a per character loot lockout. on top of the basic level of RNG already present on gear drops.

Sure, it's theoretically less time you're spending in game; but I'd be willing to bet they'd lose more subs overall from shitty business practices than they'd lose from people having farmed all the transmogs they want.

Flight Form is one of my most favorite things about playing a Druid and they made it mostly useless in Dragon flight because of dragon riding. What does it matter if you can instantly shift and fly away if you're 10 times slower than everyone else who took a second to summon their dragon. Skyride Flight Form should have been added with Dragon Flight. Thanks for adding it... two years late.

Bliz has been so behind on the concept of transmogs. Back in Rift they had the same concept but if you could equip it then you could get credit for it. So their plate wearers could get a piece of cloth, equip it, and it would count. I always thought WoW should have done it. But if what you are saying is true, this is taking that to the next level. I had been suggesting making items that drop in legacy raids be able to be traded around your account. You could have it drop as an item that would give you the look without being the actual item and that would prevent people from sending gear to toons that are locked or whatever. But if they're just straight up allowing anyone to learn anything, that's even more amazing. I have two of each class, a horde and an alliance, so I could run and gather all the old tier sets. I'm currently at the end of WoD with most of them and there were months where I would see the item that I need drop for the toon that I wasn't running. I love this change.

Now Blizzard just needs to add an option that allows players to disable all the EXP bonuses. Some people want to slowly enjoy the leveling process, not rush through it. There also should be an option to turn the quest markers back on, if we already completed them on other characters.

I'm going to need to wait and see what goes live. I've been checking in on the 10.2.6 PTR since it came out, and they have rolled back several of the gearing updates that were there at the start. Example - the Dreamsurge vendors sold iLvL 480 gear for the weekly token, and iLvL 460 for coalescence. A week later the token gear was the same, while the coalesc gear had dropped to iLvL 454. I checked yesterday, and the coalesc gear had been dropped to the same as it is now - 415. Clearly they wanted to get all of us geared to the point where we can get into raiding and M+, but at the last second they just couldn't pull the trigger, so take every positive change with a huge grain of salt. It's harder to check on cavern and Emerald Dream gear, but I assume they have rolled it back to current iLvLs as well. The typical Blizz method of heavily emphasizing positive changes, then rolling them back on PTR just before launch with zero documentation continues - zero respect for the player base is still a thing at Blizz.

The transmog change, hell yes. I can finally farm drip for all armor types. Also, I know they said Midnight will be the stat squish but... I feel like it just would've made more sense to start the trilogy with a stat squish, not do it in the middle. Maybe there will be a story reason for it in Midnight that has it make sense. Also hope they have another pass at Anduin's model. Textures are low rez and his GIGACHAD chin needs to be nerfed lol. Hopefully just Alpha things, but dayum.

Something that keeps getting glossed over is that account wide transmog collection doesnt apply to tier sets, which is a big reason people run old raid content. Not sure why they cant just make the on use tier tokens boa or war bound. A big oversight to be honest
