'All We Imagine As Light': first trailer for Payal Kapadia’s Cannes competition title

First trailer for Payal Kapadia’s debut feature 'All We Imagine As Light' ahead of its world premiere in Cannes.
It is the first Indian film in Competition since 1994 and one of just four female-directed features in the section.
The Mumbai-set story follows two nurses and roommates who head off on trip to a beach town to find a space where their desires can manifest. The cast includes Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon.

No surprise its a Malayalam or Tamil or Bengali language films.. does not matter which region director is... these regional language films were historically recognized in Cannes film festival for its universal values and culture.. so no wonder the director chose one of these languages as there are high chances of winning an award in Cannes compared to other languages. The reason is not just language.. Tamilz.. Malayalam and Bengali films depict a similar culture when it comes to art cinema
