They are making classes go Cele, so my bet is it'll be a mix of power and conditions ( mainly bleed and poison ) and least 1 or 2 skills will be ranged. Of course this is all speculation!! Would be nice if one skill served as some sort of sharpening stone but for poison or fire, then the #1 you use it differently in each case... But this is all a fantasy in my head :D

@@PaperRoll with today's preview, ranged and close combat confirmed! No burn animations so that's a no. I guess bleed and poison still a possibility?

If it is melee and power (which it seems likely)I will be very annoyed 🙁

@@PaperRoll I feel the same. Even before maces and hammer we had dagger (which i was happy about) but its also a melee weapon. I really wish rangers had access to more ranged weapons, because i don't enjoy bonking stuff with a bigass hammer. When I saw the first teaser about spears I immediatly thought about them as a thrown weapon, but alas it seems another melee one.
