Venice is a bit of a tourist trap. Cities in Italy such as Napoli, Florence and Pisa offer better value and quality eateries. Enjoy your vacation Ken, Italy have probably the best cuisine and historical architecture in the whole of Europe. And should be more affordable than Canada.

Hey Ken, just letting you know that the hotel is one of the oldest, but not THE oldest. There's one built in the 1100s, and Cavalletto was built in the 1300s.
