I had to chuckle when Alias asked for one more turn as it reminded me of Day 9 pleading with Brian Kibler for one more turn when Brian has Day 9 by the, shall we say, short hairs. It usually sounds something like this: "Brian... Brian, Brian. I need _one_ more turn before you kill me. Please. Just one more turn." "One more turn? Sure, no problem, Sean." Then Kibler does Kibler things because he's a hall of famer and the rest of us are mere mortals. Day 9's face goes completely white, his jaw drops to the floor as Brian wipes Sean's entire board and sets him to 1 life all while laughing like the evil wizard he is. "Ok, buddy, there ya go. One more turn."

I came back to watch this episode again, and a couple of things: One: Olivia should change her middle name to "I Am Always The Problem". And two, I seriously thought Olivia was going to say in the Deck Intro, "I can't wait to show my friends the Power of the Tentacles." Which would have been much more fitting, given that Olivia has summoned "Tentaclese" in at least on other episode. 😂

The default dungeons commander for me is sefris (the esper one from the precon): I managed to complete 15 "dungeon of the mad mage" in a single turn before having to stop myself due to decking myself out, but I guess kenrith is the second best (it can do literally everything lol)

FYI, Slinn Voda bounces Olivias creatures too - but she could have just as easily tapped stuff for many mana's while Kinnan was still in play (gaining 4 extra), and used the mana to instead use Nylea's ability to pump her commander and kill with commander damage after bouncing all his blockers. Or at least got him close. I dunno if he had any commander damage marked on him, I watched this in pieces and didn't pay too close attention.

Just finished the episode, watched all 32 in a week, as 12 hour overnights haha, love the plays all around. I've been messing around in arena and made a colorless commander, basically an energy with modules to infinite servo army which is a blast to see kick off. What does unicorn meat taste like? Ask Baron Sengir and his minions apparently, see Feast of the Unicorn, which is a nice buff to offense but ultimately a pretty terrible card in most cases. It's from Homelands, this was GOOD back then. I have decks that I design around a similar concept to your 'wipes only if they're part of a win con, no wiping to disrupt the status quo with no plan to win after', these also tend to be lighter on interaction than a typical deck, designed so that decks are more likely to be able to ' do' something. It's predicated on the power level being 'reasonable', so it's a self-policing kind of thing. While I like 'high wipe count' decks, the opposite is a very valid strategy, and less likely to offend people you are playing with. Of my 3 decks that run tons of wipes, 1 is a weenie deck that uses asymmetrical wipes, one is a relatively fast combo deck, and the other is just chaos that's wiping to watch the world burn. The deck can actually win games after wiping a few times, but it almost has to exhaust another deck's resources if it's going to win, in part because it runs a weaker Commander and lots of flavourful (but arguably weaker) older cards. It's the kind of deck where you think to yourself 'should I be running Crypt Rats in here?' and the answer is a solid 'maybe'. To win, it does run Thieves' Auction. Two of these 'wipe' decks are actually Vorthos decks, one David Bowie and one Snowdrop.

I could be misinterpreting what Olivia said about the Atraxa tails.... but if them clashing and getting stuck is an issue...... why not install some relevantly strong magnets into the tails that repel each other ...its no flawless but they would at least dodge each other lazily....?
