Hi dear, thanks for watching my videos and I am glad you like them. I will keep them straightforward as always. Unfortunately, Enic cannot be skipped as it gives a comparison of what level your degree is compared to the UK levels especially for work. Enic I know is not free, I had to Make payment to have mine done as well. I will advice working towards getting the funds to do as it can't be skipped. I wish you all the best dear.

@thaerenglish84 Hi there, thanks for watching, and thanks for the question. With that degree you should be able to train to teach in secondary school. Yes, there are lots of Jon vacancies in the cities. My worry would rather be whether you will find a school organisation that could sponsor your visa.

@thaerenglish84 Chevening Scholarship will not allow you to work in the UK immediately after completion as there is a clause in the application that mandates you to return to your home country to work for at least two years before you are able to migrate to the UK. I strongly encourage you to apply for the Chevening Scholarship as it is a prestigious opportunity. Once you get here, you can establish a network of people looking for jobs or schools you can apply to after two years. You never know. Anything can happen. You may even find love, etc, while you are here, which means you must come back after two years. 😉

Hi there, since you already have a masters degree, PGCE wouldn't be of much use to you unless you desire to do another masters degree. My advice is to apply for QTS only since the aim is to get the teaching experience. PGCE will give you some credit towards a masters. You don't need much teaching experience to apply. However, it would be great to mention any capacity in which you have worked with children or youth.

The training is focused on both teaching and subject knowledge. There might be a need for subject knowledge proficiency training (it depends on different things) at the beginning. Then, during the training, there will be sessions where you delve into French curriculum for the level you are teaching.

Yes, you pay fees for both international or local students. How much fees you pay depends if you already reside in the UK or you are applying outside the UK.

Hi Ayishatu, I believe you are a proud Ghanaian and love who you are as a person, no matter the circumstances of your country. Moreover, a man who truly means well will accept you and everything that comes with you, that's including your country. Instead of worrying about Ghana not being clean ( there are parts of America that are worse than Ghana), I will rather suggest you focus on making him see you for who you are as a person inside out.
