He wanted to die a King and his family is saver with the death god and without the kings murderer around. I would have loved to see if his wife would have shed a tear for the first time in her life would have made for a touching last scene but seeing his brother depressed and the death god hung up on it in the extra chapter wasn't to bad either

Wait something is off here, how doe he end it "infront" of Roxy, there's no way Roxy would set foot in that Kingdom again, let alone go to the castle. More importantly, where is Rudy when this is going down, they would have to be together by then, and there's no way Rudy would've let her go there alone(he knows how insane Pax is first hand, and after the threats Pax made last time they met, It's odd that Rudeous doesn't off Pax, himself. Lucky Rudeous, the universe did it for him)

Rudeus was on a mission to keep Pex alive as it turns out he would become Shirones greatest King, hate him or love him but Pex would have been the best king his kingdome had yet, he killed himself because the man God manipulated events so he would get banished and depressed. His wife that loves him for being the first person to care for her is sadly very isolated, weak willed and so didn't had it in her to save him from his dark thoughts in his mind, his best friend the death god that whopped rudeus butt because rudeus attacked him for mistaking him for a mangod servant, wanted to stop Pex but couldn't as he respected Pex wish to die as the king of Shirone.

Ironically enough his destiny was also to be a great king since he was supposed to win against his depression and become a great leader to his people but because of Rudeos making some opsies he fucks the timeline and the Kindom is doomed for a very dark future and might be one of Hitogami biggest trump cards 🃏
