Air France has made an ambitious commitment - to achieve a 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions per passenger-kilometre by 2030, using four main levers - fleet renewal, eco-flying, train/plane intermodality and Sustainable Aviation Fuel, or SAF.
SAF represent the key lever in decarbonizing the aviation sector.
There are two main types of SAF - biofuels, produced from biomass, such as used oils, and synthetic fuels, created from CO₂ and hydrogen.
During the flight, SAF emit as much CO₂ as fossil fuel. So why is it said to significantly reduce emissions? Discover why by watching this video.

I love Air France I fly with it for long flights to go to Morocco but I go to Charles de airport in Paris then fly air France again to Casablanca I think last year I flew delta to Paris but Air France to Casablanca they have great food even on delta they had French food like a pizza but with healthy foods inside I think it was a good meal and when I fly with Air France I can always feel realaxed but delta and air France for long flights are similar almost forgot on delta I also feel realaxed so thank you Air France and delta! Edit: can’t wait to go next year!
