Glad I watched this. I wanted to get an Obsbot with remote to use as a really small ptz camera with my osee godtream and my Chromebook. Don't think this will work as I want so will look for a regular ptz camera instead.

Wow that thing's £59 here in Blighty. While I get it has integration software I suspect here may be a much cheaper way of doing it (presuming frugality is paramount).

I have an issue i have it connected to my laptop but the remote is completely useless when i rotate camera it flips my computer screen in whatever direction sideways, upside down ect. is there a way to prevent this?

In the app you should be able to turn that off. Not a remote issue.

Is it possible to connect the OBSBOT mini 2 to an iPad and use the remote as well?

Not that I know of. Would be nice if they did. The new Tail Air does though, but just for Android. The iOS app is still in testing/developement.

@@FrugalStreamer Wow, thank you so much for replying and looking at solving a big problem for us! We don’t have a laptop and my wife would like to create videos or do live casts while she does watercolor painting. If this combination will work then the remote control will allow the Obsbot tiny 2 to follow her and using a P2 setting, focus on a closeup of her easel and brushwork. Being able to add a USBc microphone would be icing on the cake and create a compact setup that could do everything she needs, fingers crossed. Thanks again for replying
