I also just learned about him so I'm not sure if my info are all accurate but from what I've picked up from watching clips.. Peanuts-kun is an independent vtuber, but I think he started out as the main character of an independent anime..? If I remember correctly he's been active since 2017/2018 !

Japan has these things called yuru chara aka mascots that represents products. Like you probably have seen that clip of that apple cat mascot drummer thing before. Peanuts started out as yuru chara who's a loser that tries to become more popular and made a cartoon serie depicting that. He later became a VTuber along with his actual sister PonPoko. Well all that stuff aside. The guy is actually a talented rapper and he spends most of his time producing music. Just a vtuber peanut producing music.
