Good content, but that background soundtrack was too loud, too distracting

I agree with Andras, I was following this other tutorial from Matt WhoIsMatt Johnson and he recommended putting voices on -3DB soft music at -13DB and loud music at -21DB been following that advice and it works really well for me!
@fallingtreemedia5 жыл бұрын
Definitely agreed. Great video, but would have rather had silence than that music up so loud. Plus, I feel the feeling of the music was a little dramatic for the feeling of the video which is completely "educational and getting down to business" and not "emotional" like the music.

I do agree as well. I've learned my lesson not to hurry to the level when I don't check levels :)
@antera775 жыл бұрын
@@cttp The level was about 20% of the problem. 80% was the repetition. I strongly suggest either no music bed, or a much longer music loop than your approx 7 second one. The constant repetition brought me almost to the point of seasickness. I quit watching an otherwise nicely documented, helpful tutorial video, and didn't recommend it to a friend, directly due to this repetition. Good luck!

awesome. I find out one thing about stabilizer 1. CU footage - stabilizer tracks the item - for example i had the footage where girl shake her hands. When i put stabilizer it tracked her face ))) 2. Frame rate - Warp Stabilizer stabilize footage in same frame rate like sequence. It means if you have footage 50 frame rate and sequence 25, you nest the footage and then stabilize - Warp stabilizer will drop unneeded frames. And you will have choppy footage. ! Solution - I rendered stabilize footage in right frame as a footage. And then put in 25 frame Sorry for english, if you dont understand what i mean! )

nice presentation. music was a tad loud! a couple of examples of where position or perspective is better than warp would be welcome to complete the subject. not every scene is tolerant to subspace transformations. was there a rolling shutter correction part?

I was testing using 4k and 1080p footage in a 1080p sequence by using fit to frame setting in preferences. If I applied warp stabilizer to the original 4k footage the crop was way to much. I got around this by nesting the 4k clip and the stabilizer crop was o/k . My question is am I losing a small bit of quality by doing it this way or would it be better to warp stabilize the original 4k footage and then bring it into the 1080p sequence.
@cttp4 жыл бұрын
I think it shouldn't make any difference but I'd actually handle it differently. I'd stabilize 4K footage in 1080 sequence and I'd tweak "crop less" parameter in advanced settings of warp stabilizer. I talk about this briefly in the video
@mikegosheron16795 жыл бұрын
Great Video, thanks. I am using an Osma Action with Rocksteady stabilisation turned on (in camera). If I add Warp Stabilisation to the raw clip will it make the footage even more stable, or is there a downside to adding Warp Stabilizer on top of Rocksteady?
@cttp5 жыл бұрын
On theory it should make it even more smooth but it will crop on the image even more as well. But if you're using 2.7K footage in 1080p timeline then you should be fine :)

hello, I have a project with a number of clips with warp stabilizer I already analyzed them one by one, but subsequently I changed something in my project and now, when I'm going to export, a list showing a lot of stuff to be analyzed again appears.... .. I wonder if it's possible to start a "batch analyze" just before exporting without the hassle of going clip by clip to click on the "analyse" button... thanks..

I used the stabilizer and it zoomed cropped so much so that it cut off part of my subject.
@cttp5 жыл бұрын
That happens when there's a lot of shakiness in the clip. Try advanced analysis option and lowering the smoothness to about 10%. There's also clip less option in advanced settings.
