i love the vibes of this song- the start sounds soft and resigned, almost melancholic, but the midway point makes it sound a lot more desperate and clear, like the voice is begging to be heard or for someone to understand them. it's a very unique feeling that i'd like to see more of from you! also, amazing art, kudos!!

As much as I like the song, it feels somewhat ironic to go into the comments of a song that says someone doesn’t want to be an idol, and the comments are all positive. I’d rather that to negative but like… It’s something.

The first part is quiet and lethargic as if you are resigned and stating a fact. Indeed, popularity on the internet feels oversaturated and shallow. Most people will either deify or demonize you and it is generally quite depersonalizing. But if the lyrics were truly what you feel, I can at least say: no, the world has not had enough of your “bs” yet. Your art makes people feel something. And hee we are, keeping up with your work. It hits hard … that this cycle of creation feeds what you hate, though at the same time you need to create something and let your passion out. Everyone seems too interested and disinterested in all the wrong ways. We’re all lost sheep trying to feel something. Speaking of sheep, I love the illustration. Punk little sheep that has sharp hooves. Wearing a dead wolf’s head. I thought maybe it could represent the persona of an idol. An imitation of something that’s already dead. Pretending to be someone larger than you are. Yet, even without the flare there is still someone remarkable on the inside. So maybe the perception as an idol was not all lies after all, though it is blown out of proportion. And despite the lyrics, the sheep, the artist, perpetuates the perception. The second part is practically shouting at us, the audience. I like the message, especially with what is happening in my country right now. Too many people only looked up to idols to fix things. Look where it got us. All my idols will be dead eventually. When no one participates, democracies die. And eventually there would be no one to look up to anymore, as values corrupt. I could also apply the message to climate change. You don’t need to be an idol or be of godly status to yell your ideas into the void. I hope everyone reading this can just take a moment to think, genuinely care about what is happening around you, and do something.
