Another exceptional southpaw guitarist. I've heard this song for many years (starting with Clapton and Mayall in the 60s) but never checked out the original. Glad I finally did. Superb!!

I am reading the Carlos Santana auto-biography, "The Universal Tone" and listening to the artists he mentions who have influenced him throughout his career. I stop reading and check out the videos to see and hear the musicians he is talking about. This is a great way to read this book, highly recommended. Thanks You Tube.

Otis Rush's guitar playing on "All Your Love (I Miss Loving)" was so ahead of it's time. Clapton didn't have to change a thing on the solo eight years after Rush's 1958 original. I ranked Otis Rush #63 on my list of the 100 best guitarists of all time: bluesdjben.blogspot.com/2017/06/the-100-best-guitarists-of-all-time_10.html

I used to love Clapton, then he started wearing Armani suits !
@TheCapedWanderer Жыл бұрын
@@Margosmad shame because after the Armani suits period (late '80s) Clapton went full blues and toured in a t-shirt and sweat pants playing nothing but blues covers.

I'm saddened greatly (even though he didn't perform the last 15 years of his life due to his stroke). See my remembrance of Otis Rush at: georgesworldonthewater.blogspot.com/2018/09/otis-rush-truly-one-of-great-ones-rip.html
