@QueenofTaterTots7 жыл бұрын
it's not a theory man, it's confirmed true, Link escaped Termina and became an adult and died forgotten, and he became a stalfos because of it, he remembered everything that happened in the adult time line and that he was a hero...but nobody else does because he went back and warned everyone about ganondorf so the adult timeline never happened, but he remembers it happening, and the three deeds he did prior, i.e. killing Gohma, King Dodongo and Barinade weren't enough to earn him any sort of fame, so he likely just became a normal knight of hyrule, being the only one to ever remember he was the hero who controlled time itself

@chuckingreaper86546 жыл бұрын
Shinyhunterlobo I never considered that. I forgot that the Ganondorf of the Child timeline was sealed away meaning Link never got to fight him/earn his fame. Isn’t it funny, that Child Link spent the remainder of his returner youth never fighting Ganon. At least we know he had a child with some woman and would later train his descendant.
There's just something amazing about the first song being the Song of Healing. The Hero's Shade has experienced transformation before, and so he tries to use Song of Healing first before any other song to save you from your wolf form, unaware that it doesn't actually work on Wolf Link.

The final song being the Song of Twilight is symbolic. All the other songs were sung by other Heroes of the past. The final song, after learning all the skills from the Hero's Shade, recognizes that Link has grown into being a hero of his own, and his song is now worthy of being sung with those of the Heroes before him. This will be the last skill he needs to learn, and he will be as great as the Heroes of Yore, and ready to fulfill his destiny.
@boohawk659 Жыл бұрын
And with the how they are facing too. Through most of the songs OoT Link is facing TP Link but on the final song he is facing the complete opposite direction TP Link is. As if to say this is (because it really is) the last thing he can teach him and OoT can finally move on.
@MHShah17 Жыл бұрын
It feels so meaningful, the first song is the song of healing, the last is TP Link's own. It fits with the many theories you can see, (song of healing) OOT Link is able to move on by passing the moves on (TP's theme) TP Link is ready as his own hero.
@GuukanKitsune Жыл бұрын
@MHShah17 the first song being the Song of Healing is also significant because SoH is a song that heals the pain of a lost spirit and eases their regrets so they can pass on or pass their abilities/responsibilities to the musician playing it. Combine that knowledge with how, after the Song of Healing, the Hero's Shade passes down his skills to Twilight Link.

The Josh LP I know autistic people that are actually intelligent enough to understand that everyone has different opinions, unlike you. They're a hell of a lot smarter than you give them credit for. It's people like you that scare people away from this toxic fandom. It's part of the reason why I'm leaving the fandom next week. Thank you for giving me another reason to hope next week gets here that much quicker, because I'm *EMBARRASSED* to be associated with people like you.
@97dusk8 жыл бұрын
TheShadowWalker You want to talk about a cult? Go to Majora's Mask. For the past seven years, I have had "cultists" as I call them try to force me into liking that piece of garbage. If anyone, *ANYONE*, says *ANYTHING* negative about Majora's Mask, legitimate criticism or not, the whole fandom tries to mount their head on a silver platter, telling them that they either suck at the game, they're too young to understand the game, or they have poor taste in games. That *IS* this fandom. Remember Hyrule Warriors and the backlash it initially got? It was downright embarrassing to see that this fandom became juvenile brats over a spin-off, noncanon collaboration title. Your wording, including the immature name-calling, is proof enough that this fandom is a toxic mess. I know quite a few people that stay away from this fandom because of that behavior. I've put up with it for seven years, foolishly thinking that it would eventually get better. Boy, I sure was wrong about that. I've seen people get outright attacked for saying that they don't like a specific game in this fandom. Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time are two of the bigger ones. To even remotely enjoy being in this fandom, some people are practically forced into a cult following of a game that they probably don't like just so they can avoid getting attacked. Besides, why should you even *CARE* about what I'm saying? I already said that I'm leaving next week. If you want to tell me that the Zelda fandom is one of the better ones, then you sure as hell shouldn't have worded your post the way you did. I've seen far better behavior in multiple fandoms, Pokemon and anime included. I'm not leaving next week because you told me to, I'm leaving because I won't take the bullshit from this fandom for another year. I've put up with it for six years longer than I should have. I'd love to see you try to hold onto your sanity while having to explain why you hate a certain game for seven years. The patience I've had with this fandom was probably the most patience I'll ever have with a group of humans in my lifetime. I've given it more than enough time to prove me wrong, but I see no change whatsoever. It honestly looks like it's gotten *WORSE* instead of better. A user posted the following on the Legend of Zelda community page on Miiverse last month: "You know, Miiverse is starting to remind me of this guy I dated once. He only cared about himself, thought that anyone else's opinions were stupid. I recently said my opinion on a certain Zelda game, and that was the start of infinite hate. I've had tweets about the game, instagram pictures of the game, and finally, hateful mean comments on Miiverse. Just stop." The link to the post is the following: miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAACNUKFOMyLA9Q This fandom *IS* bad, it's definitely not as good as you're trying to make it out to be. If it was "one of the better ones", then why are people getting attacked because they don't like *ONE* game, especially on Miiverse where a good chunk of the toxicity is located? Just answer me that.

I actually posted about this on a fan page and someone made a pretty good point. Ballad of Gales doesn't necessarily have to mean the timeline is incorrect since the song probably existed long before Wind Waker. So Oot link could have learned it somewhere along the line. I still whistle these tune from memory. My crows love the melody and my co-workers have no idea what I'm whistling. But they say it reminds them of the past in a good way. That is why I still whistle these moments

If you ever think you'll never be a good singer, just remember that they hired a wolf to cover Zelda songs.
Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are my two favorite games that I've almost finished.

Amazing detail that I never thought of. The Hero's Shade plays the Link's part and Link TP plays the Sheik's part. True to the ocarina and the hero of time role till the end!

This video nearly made me burst into tears, which is very, very difficult, to say the least. I just came and watched because I wanted to hear the songs again and I couldn't remember them. And then the Song of Healing came on and it just hit me. The piano accompaniment and the two of them howling just put an immense weight in my chest. The Requiem of Spirit coming right after that just sealed the deal. I don't know why, but it just made me extremely emotional and raw. Thanks. Good video.

TheAtomicNoobinator ._. Not to be rude or anything but what isn‘t understandable by saying ‚original‘? Are you a little bit stupid or just playing stupid? It‘s meant that this song came up the first time in Twilight Princess and in no other Zelda game before.

One of my favourite parts of Twilight Princess was playing these songs then learning the epic sword techniques from the hero's Shade...Each main console game had some sort of music playing mechanic and Twilight Princess had a unique way of doing it by incorporating Wolf Link's howling as the 'instrument'...

The wolf song version of the Goron's Lullaby had the sixth and seventh notes reversed, and the last note was deleted. The Ballad of Gales had some extra notes added.
@elliotlevy86102 жыл бұрын
I'm not convinced those are the songs the video claims. Goron Lullaby in particular sounds very different. Most of the reused songs are obvious and the melody utilizes the familiar tempo and notes. The song the video claims references it does neither, changing the notes, tempo, and even the feel of the melody to be more upbeat.
