Hey Geoff the truck was awesome and the sound was so sweet!! What a machine and the owner of it commented on it on here too! Was a good day out Shane the weather stopped the event!! But still got some awesome footage! Glad you Enjoyed it!

The parade on and off the sand is probably the best bit to be fair. I went on the Saturday, got there for sunrise and watched the racing into the afternoon. The safe distance for spectators means its not quite so good to watch, well worth going, but the best bit was the huge variety of cars. High revving 4 pots to burbling v8's. Getting there early was well worth it, you hear all the cars starting up across the caravan park and making there way to the beach road waiting for the tide to turn. Great atmosphere👌👌

Yeah I think the safety for spectators is way off your so far away from the action,I missed the Saturday as working and then Sunday was a disaster I was waiting ages but I think I caught the best bit as you said and we could get close to the cars!! Hopefully next year is a bit better!! (Weather wise)

​@@ALL_4_WHEELS the weather was definitely iffy, I drove there on Friday eve in the rain in open series 2, but Saturday weather made everything good again. The safety distance does seem excessive, but maybe the sketchyness of some of cars makes the organisers nervous.. In contrast, I went and watched some of the Hills ford Rally stages, local to me and I felt my chosen place of safety behind a gorse bush 6ft from passing cars was a bit pointless🤣🤣 it does make you feel alive tho!! There's always next year for pendine, I've Been meaning to go for 5 or 6 years, and something either gets on the way or I forget. Worth the wait😀 Edit: Might be worth you talking to the organisers about pit pass and journalistic access. You do very watchable vids which would benefit them as well as you. (And us😂)

I don’t live too far away from Pendine but I will see if I can get a media pass there!! How was the rally? I don’t know whether to introduce rally videos on the channel as I absolutely love it too!! Always went to the woodpecker forest stages in Ludlow!

Damn that takes me back, used to go to Pendine with my late father to see the hot rods, love this vid! I always remember the story about Babs and the land speed record, Pendine sands, infamous incident, and a sobering reminder of our own mortality too sadly. Really enjoyed seeing this one, simple by relaxing viewing. Shame the race got scuppered due to weather. Can't wait for the next video ;-)

Shame you didn't get there on Saturday when they actually raced. By the way they weren't all V8s (for instance mine is straight six Chevy powered), but they are all pre-49, as per the VHRA rules.
