l was so lucky to have seen her live in st petersburg in 1979 with her husband john markovsky and also was guest for dinner in her flat with some english friends ,she was a marvelous dancer .

She says that for a long time she had not danced with Nureyev, and was not picked as his partner in the (then) Leningrad. Only in Paris did they dance together. By that time Nureyev understood "who he was" [his own significance] and so requested that they dance together.This was a great success. [There follows an account of how Rudi was told it was just (another) Saturday, with Rudi concluding that no, not at all, that was the performance they simply had to dance together.]

Константин Михайлович обладал своеобразным чувством юмора, а Руди всегда знал, что хотел и был уверен! Жаль, записи Нуреева и Осипенко нет! Наверняка это прекрасно и поэтично
