Thanks for that. I have actually found two different sources claiming it is his photo so I had no reason to doubt it. But as you know it is the internet right and I accept it is my mistake. It’s just when using 100+ photos sometime I feel like double checking is enough. But you are right I will note it down and when I get to the computer I will blur that photo. Long time no see! It has indeed been quite a while since I last posted, but as you know, sometimes life happens, and the last thing you have time for is making and posting videos. Also, *insert random excuses here* 😀🥲. However, I haven't been completely inactive 😃. I took some time to finally finish Photopedia, filling everyone's profiles and adding your photos (which you can check on the website). Doing this brought back many memories, and I must say I actually miss you guys 😊. After all, we've had 40 live streams, interviews, Reddit rounds, etc. I'm sorry I couldn't keep up with everyone. It's not that I don't care; it was just a bit too much to juggle alongside my family and other responsibilities. I would love to reconnect with you all in the comments. The break I took made me rethink many things, especially the direction I want to take with this channel. I found it a bit scattered, as I realized I was posting videos in more than 10 different directions. So, I reviewed every video and unlisted over 50 of them, which I felt were somewhat disconnected from what I initially wanted to do here. But don't worry! Photography has always been the main focus of this channel, and that's what I intend to continue posting. In the next few videos, I want to focus on the stories I've wanted to tell from the beginning, and I hope my production quality has improved as well. Its great to be back and creating again! Thank you all for your support.

if he was alive today, his photos would not look as good. One major reason his photos are admired is because of WHEN they were made. Modern day street photography will only be admired and appreciated in another 40-50 years.

I disagree if I may. The guy was a master photographer and would “see” loads of potential shots in this modern world, just as he did back in the day. The “look” would still be the same (he’d use his trusty Leica’s). But yes, I agree with the era, the subjects would look different. Dress, transport, architecture etc. Mind you, he’d have his name and any of his work would generate interest, even in this modern era

We can probably all agree that generally photos age well. Even photos taken by my family members from 90s with no knowledge about photography whatsoever look pretty good. That being said I don't think it is purely this case with HCB. His keepers of course are very good but if you look at it in the context of what (in terms of subjects) and how (what equipment etc.) it was shot then you can't deny it was something completely different and I dare to say revolutionary.

Great video! Unfortunately the photo shown, timed at 0:32 into video, isn't a Henri Cartier -Bresson photo but a Rui Palha capture. A correction on this error is needed and will be appreciated

The decisive moment is just a name he gave to composition and timing. It’s just a bunch of bunk. There are several world class photographers who benefitted greatly by being born into money. He didn’t have to put bread on the table merely from his photography. (Ansley Adams was another). All decent photographers know instinctually that timing is critical to composition and whether you have a great photo. There are so many poor photos simply because they lacked that little extra thing that separates an outstanding photo from a mere snapshot.

IT DOES NOT MATTER. Yo,u, as a photographer, are not important. This translate to any work of art. If you sign your art, you declare your work as a project. You are a content creator. And that is fine. But it isn;'t transgenerative. And that is why this 1980-2020 generation is trash.
