is this thing thinner than the DIY method? I am currently trying to do it myself, with a disposable sim + sd + smartphone. But even though i sandpapered the sd card on both sides (which you shouldn't do on the "belly" side with the connectors), trimmed down the silicone bulb on the sim, sandpapered that sim as well (even on both sides as this is just a test) and cut of the sides and finally glued it together very very tight on all edges it is STILL to thick to go in smoothly. You'd have to use a lot of force and even though the phone is sort of disposable i could still get money out of it so i'm still a little scared to use so much force. So is this thing, that you put on the sd card as shown in the video thinner than an extracted sim from the DIY method?

this device was there when there were only single SIM feature phones available in the market so as to run two SIM cards in one feature phone. you had to switch off & on the phone to switch between two sim cards
